I quit playing GR Monsters because the meta down here in Cullman Valdarith, but before I did I was @ 4 Boon Satyrs, and 3 Coursers. I found that I almost never wanted more than 1 courser. I usually ended up with more than at least 1 time each match.

I ran golgari charm in RG Monsters with 1 shock, 1 scry, and 4x caryatids. 6 source, 4 of which were non land.... Worked fine.

O-Ring is really banisher priest 5-8. Athreos is so good you want to see him nearly every game. So 3 is about as low I would go. Also, in my expierance, people not sacking stuff to d-demon scares the crap out of black mages (when you have a flier on deck to block with). The know (or think they know) burn or combat tricks are coming.
