Looks pretty cool

I'll probably stick with scapeshift and snapcaster/DTT delver though

I've been playing Modern for awhile (about a year on and off), but most of my experience is on Scapeshift (formerly the RG titan version, now the RUG with four DTT's). I'm trying to practice as much Delver as I can as the archetype fascinates and excites me but hasn't been real strong in Modern unti...

What sort of UR build would you guys recommend for a completely open and random meta? It's pretty difficult to predict what will show up in my local meta, with different people bringing different decks every week. Even though i like the DTT/snapcaster builds more, I think the swiftspear/cruise versi...

Went 3-2 and then lost a really close game 3 to 4 color delver and dropped. I really learned a lot today about the format and how important knowing matchups is.

I'll write a more detailed report when I get home sunday

What do you guys think about Caleb Durwald's take on UR delver in modern? I personally think he's crazy for running 17 lands with only 6 mana producing lands and no ponder/brainstorm, but he says it's been working well for him http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/legacy-weapon-the-best-deck-in-le...

I considered (and am still considering) those options 1. i considered bridge as a replacement for the ashen riders since they're my slots for show and tell, except bridge can be brought in against other random decks. I THINK the bridge could be okay to go in vs elves. I don't know if running both is...

I just picked up this deck and I've been playing with the lavamancers, I really like him in the creature matchups

I haven't played any of the grinder matchups though, i'm sure swiftspear is much better in those.

maybe load up more on searing effects in the board and/or put lavaman in the board?

burn is this decks worst matchup that i'm aware of (though that chalice zoo list i've heard about look like it'd be pretty tough, thankfully it's not popular...yet) but it's far from unwinnable especially postboard. if you are expected burn in any capacity a couple dragon's claws go a long way I hav...

Personally I agree that YP is an auto-include, but some people still insist on running the Hoogland Spellstutter Sprite Delver list. I dunno if I'd call the deck linear, you have to make the correct choices when you pick what to discard depending on what you've got in your hand. The aggro matches (in game 1 at least) seem like they can come down to whether you draw Bridge or not, but game two is usually better. I will agree bad s...

The deck has hefty black requirements, it MUST have double black by turn 3 and having double on turn 2 most of the time is also a requirement (there are some decks that straight up can't beat T1 IOK/thoughtseize into T2 wrench mind into T3 Bridge/Lily) Drawing multiples of Urborg without other lands...

I'm not sure if the white splash for LS is worth it (I've not tested it though). I don't want to take damage from my mana, games vs. aggro are already shakey if i play too many thoughtseizes sometimes. LS is fuckin' good w/ Lily though. If my local meta had a decent amount of aggro I'd probably spla...
