Hushwyng Gryff seems like the sweetest sideboard card.

A card with no CMC (Living End, for example) triggers Eidolon when cast, since 0<3. Playing a creature morphed uses the stack normally, but paying the morph cost and turning it face-up is an independent non-stack game action.

tl;dr you're taking 2 brah

But it's kind of fail since no cost =/= zero.

It's not like you walk into walmart, can't find a tag on something and it's free lol.

Cards with no CMC can't be cast the usual way (Living End, Restore Balance) and need some special mechanic to put them on the stack like Suspend or Morph.

A card's CMC isn't always related to what you pay to cast it (Flame Javelin, Reaper King).

Zem's UR Delver feat. Treasure Cruise list looks pretty good. I like how you can essentially go into "fire at will" mode once you know you'll get to draw 3 in 2 turns.

On an unrelated note, I just finished a bottle of Brother Thelonious belgian style ale and I'm feeling fine and dandy.

I was helping a friend make a budget Mono White Heroic when I came up with this list:

[deck]Creatures
4 Soldier of the Pantheon
4 Favored Hoplite
4 Phalanx Leader
3 Ainok Bond-Kin
3 Fabled Hero
3 Abzan Falconer
2 High Sentinels of Arashin

Spells
4 Gods Willing
4 Defiant Strike
4 Ajani's Presence
3 Mortal's Ardor

22 Plains

Sideboard
2 Ajani Steadfast
2 Akroan Skyguard
3 Return to the Ranks
2 Spear of Heliod
3 Suspension Field
2 Launch the Fleet
1 Deicide
[/deck]

It still needs some adjustments but I think it has potential to be REALLY good and the sideboard's a mess. Any opinions?

Yes, play red or green with it. I came to basically the same conclusions, Heroic as a mechanic seems pretty strong now.

Red
offers some good combat tricks as well as Anax and Cymede.

Green offers Reap What is Sown and [card]Mortal's Resolve[/card], as well as Boon Satyr and Hero of Ioras if you want to go the enchantment route. Setessan Tactics is also insane in the deck.

What are the big tournaments to watch for results before PT Honolulu and GP LA? I'm going to GP Stockholm the week after GP LA, and I'd like to have some decent information where the metagame is heading before that.

I like this Khaos. It seems like it'll run right through anyone who stumbles or any annoying green cards. Have you tried running some number of Stormbreath/Sarkhan in this shell? If you did, how'd it go?

I think 2-3 Hushwing Gryff in the sb will be mandatory for burn if it turns out to be a viable strategy in this metagame
