I mean, if on day 1 there are people claiming they have insider knowledge someone is scum, which is what I am getting the impression ham and io2 are claiming, I would assume the correct course of action would be to lynch the culprit, then seeing how he flips and coming back at day2, either a) confirming ham and io2 as town if he was scum, or b) lynching ham or io2 if he was town.

You’ve all gathered together to watch the polls. Seeing with incredulity that Trump is obviously going to be the front-runner in this state, you start to turn on each other. Biting, scratching, pulling hair: the scene looks like something straight out of a kindergarten classroom. American democrazy at it’s finest.

As the smoke settles, it’s clear that one has taken the brunt of the beating. Rising slowly to his feet, NightArcher looks around at all, a look of utter despair on his face.

“What in God’s name has come over you all? Why are you doing this? We are all on the same side! We cannot let the Mexicans and the Muslims tear us apart like this!”

I would like to extend my condolences to the families of my friends and committee partners, Jim Gilmore and Lindsey Graham. Imopen2 and I tried to conceal the identity of our third committee member as a means of protection from scum, but sadly Col K was found out. Perhaps we weren't thorough enough in our efforts.

Hey folks, I'll just jump right in with my T/S list based on my read of day 1.

hamfactorial - Confirmed town. Nuff said.

Kraj (rezombad) - Smart, sexy, cuddly stoner. Town.

Stardust - Town. Early posts read like a townie trying to start discussion. Added critical second vote on NightArcher.

( G_R ) - Leaning town. His defense of NightArcher at the end of the day is reaaaaally suspicious. However, that's the only point against him and he's actually been posting. I've played game after game where scum just hardcore lurked and skated by while townies who actually try to play the game lynch each other.

Pedrobear - Scum
He claims to be new, and I believe it. His first few posts are just banter. His first actual content is #67 in which he immediately casts doubt on ham & imopen's claim. But he just says "somethings up" and leaves it to someone else to fill in the blank. It reads very much like newbie scum who doesn't know how to react. When stardust explains he's voting pedro for lurking, he plays the newbie card. Then takes his first stance that GR and NA are scum, for lurking. Then says people tend to think he's scum, for lurking. When prompted to post a T/S list, he says he reread but has no opinion. It gets better when he notices imopen's comment about a third mason and asks who it is, then doesn't want to hammer NA because he thinks it'll make him look bad. So, he's actively lurked, doesn't have any opinions, and doesn't want to hammer scum because he's concerned about how the town sees him. His next post, which is the most content he's provided thus far, is wanting to make a plan going into night, which is almost always a bad idea for the town.

RedNihilist - Scum
He has been actively lurking all game. He has 29 posts, but his entire content is an unexplained vote on Pedro in #41, getting upset in #192 that Ham fingered him as NA's potential teammate, and then hammering NA. Every other post is either cute remarks, or prompting other people to post content. He does post any reads of his own, actively pursue anyone, support anyone else's line of inquiry. And then hammers when it's a foregone conclusion.

I'd happily vote for either player. The possibility that Pedro could just be making newbie mistakes instead of newbie scum mistakes makes me prefer red.

I've been mulling this over a bit, and decided I'd like everyone to give their input on this.

9 player game makes two mafia most likely. That leaves seven town. If three of those are masons together, what does the game look like when two non-masons are killed Day 1/Night 1? Day 2 would have seven alive, requiring every single non-mason voter to be on someone to get a lynch through. Essentially, a full claim at that point seals the game for town, since a lynch of a non-mason would force the mafia to kill a mason, else they lose immediately. The fact that we apparently have a daykill ability of some kind makes this even worse - the masons could well have controlled the vote Day 2.

Basically, if ham is town, something is wrong with this game. Please discuss.
