I won a 5K playing Mono Red Scrumper. Drunk. All 11 rounds.

I'm glad I won because the beer at the hotel there was fucking expensive.

And then I proceeded to get more drunk and howl Bohemian Rhapsody during the hotel bar karoake, where I told a bunch of old people to put their fucking hands in the air. And they most certainly did. The video is on Facebook.

May I ask how much you got for 1st place? The wad of cash you were flashing in your Facebook pic was smaller than I would have expected for a 5k. Was it not top heavy?

The Top 8 prize pool (the payout went to top 32) had $3600 in it, (with $1200 going to the winner). However, we uanimously agreed to split the cash and points, and to play it out for the plaque. So we all walked away with $450 each.

Yeah we did the same for SCG Regionals a month ago. No one would split if it were a $1k or lower, but guaranteed $400+ is damn good enough for everyone.

Explosives in the board looks silly in a two color deck, but I suppose it's effective on one or two against the decks you're typically bringing it in against.

You could play 1 Stomping Ground / 1 Breeding Pool in the manabase and find space for Ancient Grudge in the sideboard - I don't like Shatterstorm in a 21 lands deck, honestly. That would make your Explosives better.

On this topic, I've been doing a lot of testing against Jund with a bunch of different decks, and we ended up playing Thopter Spy Network in our Affinity lists because Jund can basically never beat it.

To put it in the words of the infamous Joe Herrera: "If you untap with that card I'm probably just dead."

They also have a really tough time with Monastery Siege. Any deck playing blue should be OK against Jund.

I have a stovery in a trailer house. Was installed earlier today. Basically there is the stove and a metal chimney vertically going straight up through the ceiling and the hole chimney is roughly 7 feet long. It extend about a foot or a foot and a half outside the roof.

My problem is it seems like I'm not getting enough oxygen. I have built 3 separate fires in 8 hours. Each fire dies within an hour or 2. Been using 3 to 5 split logs of seasoned wood (1 to 3 years old).

And some paper kindling.
The wood takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get going with the door open. An inch or two. Then I leave the air sliding door at the bottom open all the ways. After 15 or 20 minutes I shut the main door, cuz the fire is strong. In about aboUT 5 or 10 minutes the fire is noticeably lost at least 20% efficiency. So I open the door. It's strong again. So I shut the door. Repeat. Etc.

What is wrong? The smoke upon startup goes away within 20 minutes. The logs are position with wedges facing each other neatly so encouraging flame....no smoke coming into the house....etc

The unit gets hot but refuses to radiate heat more than a foot out. So the room is like 40 degrees with the fire going.

I'm thoroughly stumped

I am contemplating laser hair removal for my face, underarms, and pubic region, because I dislike constantly shaving those areas (although the alternative of allowing the hair there to grow out is far worse), but I know that the process can be expensive, so I wish to ask for advice about it.

Has anyone here ever had laser hair removal? If so, was the process painful? How long did it take to perform? How expensive was it? Would you recommend it, or its it better that I simply remain with shaving as my method of depilation? Thank you very much.
