I've found the opposite to be true. Forked Bolt has been MONEY for me. I've been playing a lot of CoCo decks that run 8 mana dorks and having 7 spells to deal with them on turn one has been winning me games.

Val:
He said his meta was Jund, Junk and Burn. I don't think Forked Bolt is very effective against them. Has your testing shown otherwise?

Okay, I read your comment wrong (replaced THAT with THE in my mind while reading).
Nevertheless, my comment stands. Against Jund I've enjoyed Forked Bolt on Confidant. I prefer saving my Lightning Bolts when I can for Scavenging Ooze or Olivia, and Forked Bolt also deals with the good half of Huntmaster. I've also been able to donate my Humble Defector then Forked Bolt both it and Confidant which feels amazing.
Almost every Junk deck runs Heirarch and some number of Birds, where Forked Bolt really shines. This is arguably where I want Forked Bolt the most (it's very close between Junk and Affinity).
Against Burn, Forked Bolt hits all their creatures for one mana except for Swiftspear if opponent can pump. I really enjoyed being able to have access to more one-mana kill spells against my Burn opponent.
Having played both with and without Forked Bolt, I would never go back to playing 0.
Delver is a different archetype, but CalebD was running Forked Bolt in his deck in his most recent video series on CFB. Check it out to see just how good it was.

I think Forked Bolt is pretty sweet, too. I play Icatian Javelineers in FB's place because it has similar applications against the decks you mentioned, plus some extra synergy with Flickerwisp, Resto and Kiki. I often use it to poke an opponent's mana creature, then blink it to put another javelin counter down for use later.

Only drawback to Javelineer is no haste. Feels bad on the draw vs Bird or Heirarch.

True, it's pretty lame on the draw vs some decks.

You're going to need to make a much more compelling argument for splashing black than only playing those cards.

Make a Mardu build and then test it! I have no idea if it's better than the current 2 color build, but I have my doubts.

I was just looking at Mihara's build and thinking if he thought it was worth splashing for the disruption, it probably is. Guy is pretty good at magic.

2-0 vs Affinity
2-1 vs Mono Green Beatdown
This is probably the most fun I've ever had playing a deck.
I may not even need Stony Silence for Affinity. Forked Bolt and Pyroclasm are already such a beating. I could probably get away with running a second Spellskite.

How often do you win by combo? I pull it off maybe once every 3-4 rounds with 2 Kikis. I'm curious if you get it more often at 3.

Ok, that's pretty close to my experience as well. I was considering finding room for the third, but I think 2 is enough given all the scry and card draw.

I may just leave in the Stony Silences for Tron and Affinity. I'll probably need them more for the former, so having them for the latter will just be a bonus. Two Pyroclasm alongside two Forked Bolt may be overkill.
I know I'm close when I'm doing trade studies between just a couple of sideboard cards.

I'd keep Stony, it has game against several decks where Pyroclasm is a bit win-more when you have Forked Bolt MD.

Went 2-2 in the daily.
2-1 vs Jund
2-1 vs Grixis Twin
0-2 vs Jund
0-2 vs Grixis Twin
Worth was VERY unkind to me in the last two matches, forcing me to mull to five in two of the games with me failing to find a second land the entire game. The other two games saw me extremely flooded. I've never actually had draws as bad as I did in the last two matches so I'm considering them outliers and will continue soldiering on with the deck. It felt great when I had even average hands.
One note: Humble Defector is terrible against Twin. Side it out always! It causes this bad subgame where you can't reliably activate it when Twin hold up mana (which is always), so it was always a 2/1 bear. Twin is actually the #1 deck on MTGO, so if this bothers you I'd play more another creature.

Regarding the black splash:
There are a lot more reasons to splash black than Thoughtseize and Inquisition. Terminate, Kolaghan's Command, Sin Collector, Tidehollow Sculler, Pack Rat, etc are all fantastic. Just don't splash black only for the discard.

I am considering going down to two Kiki also. Three is nice sometimes but having two in your opener is really awkward. This would allow me to cut Bell-Ringer altogether and fit in a fourth Finks which I have been most impressed with. The last slot could be the fourth Humble Defector again.

Yeah, when the deck has it, it has it. Bloom needs a ban. If you're on the draw there's nothing you can really do except lead with Ghost Quarter or a one-mana artifact kill spell.

I think there's merit to Vryn Wingmare in some numbers in the deck. Start at 1 and go up from there once you have 3 Thalia.

A bit of course for what we've been brewing lately, but similar to another path Ham has taken with Boros:

With all the previous talk about Rest in Peace and the Finks nonbo, I should point out that Wheel of Sun and Moon is a card. It's just a worse topdeck than Rest in Peace and Relic.

Yeah I definitely would not bring it in vs a Goyf deck, whereas Relic is actually great there.
We could make an argument for maindecking Relic.

I'm in favor of maindecking cantrips if I can cut down on land. I flood out too much with 24, going to try 23.

23 could be reasonable with 4 Walls and 2 Relic.
