How do you beat Suligmar?
The deck makes me sad because Jeskai Ascendency is so awesome, but I understand why there isn't a third color.

You actually are supposed to punch black bears if they don't run since it's not a lock to just eat you like a grizzly.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

Uh, no. If they don't run away, you slowly back away, look at the ground, and talk in a soothing voice with your hands open beside you. If they attack you, then you fight, going for the nose and eyes as much as possible. The reason why you fight is because black bears will eat you if you try to play dead (which is the correct response to a grizzly, protecting your head and neck with your hands as they swat you around until they get bored).

Dominion Adventures is out, and I'm waiting for the local boardgame store to have it.
It's great--refreshing to have so many new cards. It sucks that my storage box doesn't have enough room, though. :P

Tried GerryT's Whip deck, thought Atarka was cute, but not particularly better than anything else. Deck felt soft to Esper Dragons and light on action if it didn't have a Sidisi or Whip going. Jamming a full-on Deathmist Raptor package against midrange and Stratus Dancer to gain some points back against Esper while not being dead elsewhere. Satyr + Sidisi do a pretty good job of free wins when you flip a pair of Deathmist into the grave early and you jam any other morph. Abzan Aggro is a little dicey g1 depending on if you have Deathmists and if they have Anafenza. G2/3 you just use Wound / Execution / Assassin and aggressive trades to not get run over. You just want to stall until Pharika or Hornet Queen hits, at which point the rest of the game is a formality.

[deck]Sidisi Whip with Bear Punching[/deck]

Need to decide whether any # of Courser is good over improving the curve, since right now the three spot is completely glutted. Also I've given up a bunch of points in the red match to dominate midrange / control post-board, so that could be an issue if red comes back strong.

I just don't like Caryatid decks right now in general. Can't afford to have useless cards and bad top decks.

They should drop a good bit. I would not be surprised to see the price cut in half like you suspect. Burn is a popular deck but since it was one of the few expensive cards, those that wanted to play the deck already have them.

Wait for the reprint. I'm actually trying to trade or sell my last one. I finished foiling out my playset last week to protect me from a reprint (and get closer to foiling out the deck).

It's the day before the PPTQ and I still am not 100% sure on whether to play Mardu or Jeskai tokens. I'm worried about presenting a suboptimal 75 for the former and hate losing to Dromoka's Command and Virulent Plague with the latter. I know all the Esper Dragons decks will be packed full of hate for red which hurts me as well. Are my concerns unwarranted? I have a lot of experience with Jeskai Tokens and have always done well with it. Should I just say YOLO and jam it?

I might even just play a Jeskai deck similar to Harlan Firer's build with max Jeskai Charm and Soulfire Grand Master. In theory the deck could out race the green decks and have at least an even Esper matchup.
