you could play dissidia with cloud and sephiroth. dissidia is a lot like pokemon sort of, so that's even more of a parallel between the two games.

both pokemon and final fantasy 7 are animation and video game franchises, so even more ways mewtwo and sephiroth are the same.

also mewtwo and sephiroth have their own "a few years later..." movie sequels.

On to other news. You know what kills a magic player's ability to play? Money, no. Boring sets, no. Time, kind of. Getting your ass handed to you by Zem, no that is a lesson. This....

Hey guys and gals, I finally got my texas certified peace office liscense. Still need to get my warrant of appointment to Dallas to carry anywhere, but I have job security to work anywhere in Texas. So I am just thrilled passing that bitch of an exam.

Thanks, guys. Kaitscraft, the day you give a compliment; the world might explode. We have definitely been play testing. She looks like Lilliana to me when stripped down. Tis a swamp players dream.

I guess having a guyfriend would allow more magic play time if you both are players. We just have such diverse lives and expieriances that all time is spent on discovery.

Thank god I collected all the fetch lands, cause I have little or no money for magic. I felt a withdrawl effect from the lack of playing and reading.

Shun Yu is great, the deck is garbage. Not your build, the archetype in general.

Magic+girlfriend? Make certain days off limits. My friends with GFs all have 2 days of the week dedicated to magic, usually Friday and whatever weekday event they go to. Once they know you play magic a lot, gfs don't mind you taking a weekend for gps/opens.

Awkward positon: I've gone 4-4 in my last 2 comp REL events, and yet, I feel my game has DRASTICALLY improved even though I'm not really winning anymore at the big events. The amount of mistakes I make and reflect on after games is a third of what it used to be.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

That sucks LP. I went to fnm with red-1drops splash blue for Tcruise and won. I didn't learn anything and I'm an awful player.
But I'd rather have 6 packs and no dignity than 0$ so get riggity riggity wrecked.
