Deleting the gutter was also part of the performance improvement program, the site now runs much more smoothly thanks to this

Hmm... tricky one. I enjoyed Juan Muñoz Martín's "Fray Perico y su Borrico" as a kid, as well as the first sequel "Fray Perico en la Guerra". How old is your kid? There are classics, like "El Quijote", or translations from other languages, like Emilio Salgari's "Sandokán", or even "La Cabaña del Tío Tom" (the translation of Harriet Beecher Stowe's "Uncle Tom's Cabin"). Those can be for older kids.

If he's younger and you're not that kind of weird people who hate Disney, you can always get your hands on the Spanish versions of all of their adaptations.

Here's a website with some world classics in Spanish: http://www.cuentosinfantiles.net/

I'd be careful with "El Quijote", though. It's like reading Shakespeare, with all those archaisms and weird orthography from the days of old.

Trivia fact: It is said that Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare both died on the same day, April 23rd 1616. However at the time of their deaths, Spain had already adopted the Gregorian Calendar while England had not, so in reality they died 10 days apart.

Furthermore, Cervantes actually died one day earlier, on the 22nd.

Cool, thanks! He'll be 3 at Christmas, but loves books for all ages really (so long as they have pictures).

I read zemanjaski's article about treasure cruise, then the comments, then almost responded in the comments, then realized the whole thing was a trap to make cfb more like mtgs and figured if I was going down that road I may as well return here.

I also have spent the past week reorganizing a glut of magic cards in my apartment into value/bulk that were previously scattered around random boxes

Also I stopped playing magic altogether during Theros because something about an entire block of cards that are either Giant Growth or Giant Strength variants didn't really seem fun but I can't for the life of me figure out why.
