Yep, that's it. The strategy is to cast Ancestral Recall as many times as possible.

I have to lock down a deck for the local IQ in three weeks. I have yet to playtest my Rw Goblins deck and I'm also considering Rw burn and Jund Walkers because it looks really awesome. Hmm.....

I'm going to suggest either Rw Goblins or Rw burn. Whatever you decide, do it fast and start practicing. You want to be as familiar with the deck as you can.

God damn it, Dresden, why'd you have to
End of "Changes"
go and fucking die on me. I seriously don't want to read the next book. I'm going to be so pissed if this ends up as a cheap way to get out of his duties as the Winter Knight.
Well, about that ...
Dresden stuff.
It doesn't. Ghost Story is a very good book and explains a lot of stuff we didn't know about previously. And then Cold Days shows us Winter's purpose and and gives a glimpse into the stakes of the game being played.

I'm likely going to play a walker deck post rotation anyway. I'm very comfortable with Rw Burn and aggro which means I'd need fewer reps, which is great for someone like me with little time to practice.

Well done. It is a start.
Thanks, bro. I've done a lot of losing in the last 8 days since I started pursuing this. First it was learning basic mechanics - I was constantly clicking too many times and redirecting damage to a Planeswalker when I didn't want too, missing my turn 1 attack with Goblin Guide because I thought I highlighted him to attack when I didn't, not putting the correct stops on my opponents' turns, etc. Then it was battling with suboptimal decklists and cards (something I'm still working with) and learning how to be a little but more aggressive when mulliganing. There's also the part where I had to learn to make peace with the "shuffler." There were also a few punted games....

My head really hasn't quite been in the game either. I thought I was, but I wasn't. I had a falling out with my brother last week and I punched him face. He dropped like a sack of rocks too. I'm actually lucky he didn't press charges or something after I left. Bad times. It's been on my mind all week, plus I've been dealing with the aftermath and fallout with the circle of friends we both run with...some understand it and some don't. But I'm moving on.

But yeah, it feels good. Now I just gotta keep it up, grind out some tickets, and buy a Standard deck after rotation and snag some fetches for Modern. :stupid:

I had some other packs from going 1-1 and 2-1 in an 8-man. I got 32 tickets and 2 mesas were about $25.
