Don't see the logic in the first sentence. The internet here kicks my off in about 5 minutes, thus I have to copy what I type to keep from loosing it when I hit post. It often fails and I hit paste to recover what I typed.

I drift from here to my second hobby of firearms and tactical price/review research, thus I get kicked off being logged in a lot.

Your second sentence is spot on. I don't message the problem person anymore as it has caused more problems than it was supposed to solve.

It doesn't have to be that one of us is lying. We still haven't figured out exactly what happened to our mail last night. Jack made you untargetable. I assumed it would make you unmailable, too, so I sent the mail to check. I got that same letter back, so the assumption I made was that it verified Jack's power role. That assumption could be wrong and there's more going on with the mail than I guessed at in the first place.

I have a proposal that may help us figure out alignment. To start with, I'll claim. I'm Carl Schliff, the postman from Dead Rising. I'm town, and I have a 1-shot night ability called "Letter Bomb" that lets me include a bomb with my sent mail. The player who receives it will be killed.

Looking back at raspy's role PM, we see that both abilities (Steal and Forge) targeted a player who was sending mail.

Jack has claimed that his night ability lets him make a player untargetable. I propose that he use it on me so that my letter
bomb can't be interfered with tonight. It can still be rerouted, of course, or sent back to me via a day ability (assuming MoJo wasn't just using a clever gambit at the end of day 1), so it isn't foolproof.

I won't say who my target is publicly, so that the scum team, fearing my totes amaze reads, has to waste a redirect/bulletproof/other ability tonight instead of messing with the mail and furthering their plans.

Looking at the mafiascum wiki, a vig is a traditionally town role. If my kill goes through, you'll have me as confirmed town.

If my mail somehow comes back to me and I die, I'll be confirmed town when you see my role PM. Either way, confirmed town (including dead town) is a good thing.

This also gives other players a chance to step up and confirm their towniness. If Jack is lying about his role, you'll know on day 3 because I'll be dead. Wraith is a roleblocker, so I'd kindly ask that he not block Jack. If MoJo bounces my mail and I flip town from my own big, he's actively
working against town interests and should be strung up on day 3. Red may find some interesting way to watch the mail during this whole thing.

If there's a town Doctor, he can keep C_P alive, or another strong town read, to more heavily tilt the ratio in town's favor going into day 3.

This scheme lets me use my ability in a smart way instead of going off half-cocked on a given night, to unexpected results.

Thoughts? Concerns? Daytime assassination attempts?

-I think we're getting too bogged down in mechanics discussion. I'm going to try and reread the game soon, and that and massclaim should solve this game.

This is what he needs, which is at least going to require the time it takes him to read everything and the replacement of MoJo to be part of the massclaim.

I can at least give you my part of the massclaim. I'm a mostly vanilla townie with the ability to know who sent any anonymous mail as long as I have the full text of that mail. It's flavored as a writing style specialist.

I could have easily written InflatablePie's role PM to say "targeted with mail" instead of "sent mail to". There is no special relevence to the word "target". In theory there is no reason why an ability couldn't affect both mail and other abilities, but if that were the case it would be explicitly stated.

As for the Bomb, LMD is probably Untargetable or Bulletproof or something to that effect. Which I don't see being town in conjunction with Jack's claimed role, provided Jack is town.

This could be true, but the mail being messed with seems a viable reason why Ham's bomb did not make it> I got mail from Pie that was not for me and Red seems to claim he got mail for someone else as well. This all hinges on whether Ham and Jack are telling the truth, but there responses seemed legit to me. We do know that they claimed their abilities before the night occurred for abilities to be active, thus it's a gut call. For now, I believe them.

So far, I get a null or weak scum read out of Iso. Voting LMD has me perplexed, but the claim that he did not read anything before could be a finding of town based on MoJo's play. A serious subjective call there. Either Iso is lazy or is playing one hell of sneaky play. I could vote either LMD or Iso at this point. I am throwing Jack and Ham into my town pile with C_P as my gut says the mail globally messed with. 2 scum left tells me that they only had 2 possible options; assuming they can only one ability per night and have more abilities than NK. Messing with the mail like that sounds like a scum ability. Town ability of mail watcher, tracker, role blocker (the jailer of the mail system I guess), and maybe lie detector seem correct as town would want to protect the mail and duties. I believe MoJo (now Iso) claimed the ability to return mail to sender. Does it target the player or their mail? Things to think about. It would make sense that Jack's ability
protected Ham if his mail returned to sender somehow.

After tailbone surgery, I discovered I am immune to most drugs of that nature.

They just give me the runs and that was torture for having surgery near the location of where I sit.

I also REALLY hate going to the dentist. Immune to their knock out gas and other pills are either hardly effective or not noticeable. It is a genetic condition my father passed down to me.

I try at all cost to never take medications as it just seems to not work or does something not wanted. Also, don't abuse
drugs as it changes your brain in ways you would not expect.

No, I wondered this as well. A bomb should be explosive and how does that work with paper? Compressed air instead of a pressure wave from intense heat of explosive? Death by paper cuts seems
more personal and torturous than "boom...you are dead". Also, you said "your head assplode". How does that translate into paper cuts? That is why I think the mail was messed with. Did you receive any mail or did Jack prevent that?

Note the distinct spelling of "toNight" in Pie's message to you. I did a thread search for the word "tonight" and got 47 results. In every instance where Pie used it, he spelled it without the weird capital N. Iso used that spelling, but he's only here after replacing on
post-NK.

You posting the message 10 minutes after Wraith derp-posted the message he got without making you confirm the GGtap means you could have forged it to look town and cast suspicion on Wraith while making Red look more town.

The message looks a lot more formal than the one Wraith posted. Why doesn't the tone match?
