No scrying will make it harder to hit 5 lands to give Pack Rats a reasonable chance. Otoh you really need bait to give Pain Seer a chance which is the only thing looking like it´s going to help towards hitting those lands. Somehow that feels like the problem. You need more bait to allow your star players to shine. My first reaction is that I´d ignore your 1 drops, answer your 2 drops and wait for D.Demon. Thus I like Pedros 28 creatures target saturation plan better.
Another route is to lose the 1 drops and exchange Herald for Nyx-Smith. Now you´d have 16 drops that demand immediate answer within a 4 mana curve. The strategy being answering whatever they do and present a single game overtaking threat at the time.
4 Pack Rat
4 Pain Seer
4 Satyr Nyx-Smith
4 Desecration Demon
4 Thoughtseize
4 Magma Jet (for scrying)
...
4 Blood Crypt
4 Temple of Malice
1 Temple of Silence
1 Temple of Triumph
x Mutavault
x
Mountains
x Swamps
I guess I am more going down the route of 'Good cards deck' now, but that´s what you get for a penny...

I noticed Xadrid Necromancer bad if we play pack rats (not enought humans). I like Lifebane zombie / specter better if we go 28 creatures road.
Your list is good if we think 24 creatures is enough (personally I would play additional 3 drop in Specter/Lifebane Zombie), we just need to think if our combination of 2 drops is fine. Thrill-Kill Assassin is nice as it is 2/3 with deathtouch, so it goes through specters, caryatids, merchants plus is potential human for Necromancer. However I dont think it is better than Pack Rat.
As for SB, how do you like duress?

Yeah I like Duress a lot to support Thoughtseize against Esper. It's just so efficient; you're much more threat dense so the effect is exaggerated.

It read well. Because you sent it back with changes made I just added other feedback to it and went from there.

In the future, would you prefer if I made the suggested edits separately so that you can compare it side by side and insert only those edits you felt were appropriate? It read well. Because you sent it back with changes made I just added other feedback to it and went from there.
You're welcome.Very helpful ofc

Except that if you have more than one in play, it's going to leave you extremely vulnerable to Drown in Sorrow and Bile Blight. If you're not facing those, then go for it.If it had a power of 2, it would be a little too good. As long as it lives and you have burns, the board will be easily cleared for him to swing.
And let's not forget when you have more than one of them in play. *shudder*
He would be pretty gross with Pyromancer's Gauntlet. Too bad it costs so much and comes down so late. With enough quality burn, you could keep the board clean, but with our most efficient burn to the face being Lightning Strike, something like a Loxodon Smiter is going to ruin your day very quickly.
If we get a damage spell tied to devotion, now we're
talking.

Dane!
The man they call Dane!
He pissed of the mods then he pissed them off more.
Stood up to the man and he gave him what for.
Our love for him now, ain't hard to explain,
The hero of Salvation, the man they call Dane!
Now Dane saw his Redbros' backs breakin'.
He saw his Redbros' lament.
And he saw that administration takin'
Every haven they had to vent.
So he said, "You can't do that to my people!"
"You can't crush them under your heels."
Dane hit reply,
And in the blink of an eye,
Told the staff how everyone feels.
He pissed of the mods then he pissed them off more.
Stood up to the man and he gave him what for.
Our love for him now, ain't hard to explain,
The hero of Salvation,
the man they call Dane!
Now here is what separates heroes
From common folk like you and I.
The man they call Dane,
He caused them some pain,
And then let that finger hit sky.
He flipped them right off to their faces.
Then flipped them off to their backs.
The man they call Dane
He caused them some pain,
Because balls are not what he lacks.
He pissed of the mods then he pissed them off more.
Stood up to the man and he gave him what for.
Our love for him now, ain't hard to explain,
The hero of Salvation, the man they call Dane!

My off-hand comment about Dane yesterday made me a bit nostalgic...
To add to the current conversation, I think a slightly higher curve Rakdos Aggro will certainly be a deck and the new Satyr is powerful but incredibly fragile. Could be something to do in a new YP$:
[deck]Creatures: 16
4 Young Pyromancer
4 Satyr Firedancer
4 Chandra's Phoenix
4 Oracle of Bones
Spells: 20
4 Shock
4 Lightning Strike
4 Magma Jet
4 Boros Charm
4 Warleader's Helix
Lands: 24
[/deck]
Rough list - probably wants some number of Chandra if nothing else, but may be something?

I can't help but feel like the new Satyr is a trap card. In a way he's kind of like Young Pyromancer in that he generates VCA, but against decks without creatures he's a 1/1 for two whereas YP$ always threatened to generate more board presence.
Me? I'm staying the hell away from that thing.

I'll take your word for it - I was just throwing something out there for the burn people. Honestly, every burn deck looks like hot garbage to me.

I don't think the Satyr is very good. In any aggro deck, the burn is typically selected to be able to target creatures as well as players so you can kill a blocker or finish off an opponent. Spending 4 cards on a 1/1 (dies to a light breeze) just to maybe turn your Lightning Strikes into Searing Blazes just isn't worth it.
In a burn deck, you don't want to cut 4 burn spells to put in a flimsy 1/1 unless it can also provide value (Grim Lavamancer, for example).
Also, because of the wording on the card, the burn spell has to resolve before the Satyr can target the opponent's creature.

Seems to have some fun synergy with a card like Flames of the Firebrand
It's one of those cards I'm going to order 4 of and play around with, but likely won't make a list I bring to anything higher than FNM. Who knows, though, it may be YP$'s brother for all we know.

Speaking of FNM, I want to play UG Flash there tomorrow. Just need the Boon Satyrs, Simic Charms, and Breeding Pools.
If that fails I'll just play my Boros list again because that list is broken as hell.

Redthirst, I don't think there is enough clay or marble to capture your essence in a statue of Dane.

Dies to fast for it to good in Modern cause it screams auto target. Needs burn to work, thus it really with an empty hand top decked.

Yes, Harder to chump block with Madcap Skills, and wins one on one races.
Cool, but Madcap is still better?
