oh also there's a guy in the friend safari island's pokemon center who will tell you what your pokemon's IVs are but unless they're pefect, he will only give you a range for each and also only which stats are the best. he is mostly only useful, again, if you're not breeding for Hidden Power. You will generally not due to the HP nerf in X and Y.

yesterday afternoon's wonder trading was the best. i got like 10 more pokemon in my dex and a few parents that were super baller. adamant chespin with egg moves was pretty sweet and a +1 dex.
