Creature -- Human Soldier
Battalion -- Whenever this and at least two other creatures you control attack, creatures you control are indestructible this turn.
Sacrifice Frontline Medic: Counter target spell with X in its mana cost unless its controller pays 3.
3/3
What a hot one.

"We realized that we printed a scalable, build-your-own ultimatum so we're spending this entire set correcting that. Please enjoy your new version of Wizards of the Coast Brand Fun (tm)."
But on the real, this card has a lot going for it:
1. It's a human.
2. It's 3 mana 3/3, putting in on-curve with characters like Mayor of Avabruk, Thalia, and Champion of the Parish in GW/x Humans while not being the less-than-aggressive Fiend Hunter.
3. Your creatures are indestructible when attacking with it, alleviating the dreaded "Restoration Angel telegraph and subsequent blowout," as well as winning you battles with Thragtusk.
4. It makes Sphinx's Revelation even less of an out for the myriad control decks.
This card does not keep you from getting blown out by Terminus/Supreme Verdict/Angel of Serenity, but it allows you to effectively plow through the hurdles like Thragtusk and Sphinx's Revelation that
really make those cards your biggest problems.

I would have been happy with that card without the counter ability.
Eric, Ren and Jensen were activists
Heads loaded with theory, their hearts are filled with passion
Shared the same left wing politics
Liked the same music, they were part of the protest movement
Now, Anna presented herself as a feminist
Studied the way they talked and dressed
Fashioned herself an anarchist
Eric fell in love with Anna at the meeting of the crime think conference
He didn't know it but Anna was an FBI informant
