Since this is already a really crazy idea, can we try and fit a Mindslaver lock in there? We already have 4 simulacrums and Wellsprings and expedition maps in there, along with artifact recursion, which would make finding Ruins and an island not impossible. Additionally, Academy Ruins is a much stronger card than Buried Ruin.

This deck actually has a lot of play to it and a surprisingly large number of keepable hands.
