UR Artifact Aggro

Put this in the UR Trading post thread but this seems to be an entirely different deck I'm building.
This is going to look awful because I suck at initial deckbuilding but something like this:

Maybe I'm missing something else.

Had it in originally as another Ensoul enabler but it felt slow. I could be wrong though, this is entirely untested.

Draws are very, very durdly and I'm not sure I've had a winning hand yet. Needs more threats. Building entirely around Ensoul is a mistake.

So much space devoted to the sharpnel/ensoul thing definitley leaves you wanting on the card advantage parts is the biggest issue. It's probably best if the deck focuses on one over the other. There might be an actual early aggro in there somewhere but I haven't focused enough to find it. Ensoul is actually at its best with 0-1 mana artifacts which make not great aggro pieces. Darksteel Citadel is certainly good but you don't have the 5/5 swinging until turn 3 and it ties up a land drop.

Excited to see you trying a list like this since I was thinking of a very similar idea. Trading post loops with doom engine sound so awesome. I was thinking of using prism as a source of card draw that's can be useful with ensoul and blast. Thoughts?

Thought about it too but haven't tried it. My fear was that 2 mana was a bit much for a cantrip when we probably don't need the mana fixing. In a smaller land all in deck, it might have a home.
After doing some goldfishing, I think you either want to ensoul or shrapnel blast but not both except in a real odd all in deck. Too many moving parts. And you don't want to shrapnel blast if you're using trading post. And you don't want ingot if using Ensoul. Etc, etc.
Shrapnel blast and Doom Engine in particular seem to go opposite ways do to the mana costs. I don't think Doom Engine needs that kind of help anyway.
Still haven't quite gotten it to FNM level.
If you have ideas, toss them up.

Do you have a deck list in mind? I imagine you would be generating into doom engine or juggernaut most likely.

I was giving this a try, dropping the shrapnel in favor of a more tempo build focussing around ensoul / illusory angel. I just stared brewing this last night and haven't got to do any testing yet but I think it's where I'll start.
