Too many MTGS-related threads in here. Anyway, MTGS admin Galspanic has requested that this is posted and discussed here. I hope he gets around registering here to chime in but IDK if that will happen.

This is just me thinking out loud and not any hint of any action at this point.....the Gutter in the process of being sort of reincarnated on another site and having it here seems strange to me. To me it makes sense to just call it quits, turn off the posting, and leaving a link to MTGCommunity. Then, if and when I can get Hannes to send the SQL Dumps over to Azrael, ( N_S ), or whoever we can just retire it.

I want GR to post this on the Community too (at my request) since it seems that people there would care and it would end up effecting them too.

Any thoughts on how to make this break as clean and amicable as possible. I might be
in the minority here, but I think that MTGC is a huge opportunity for people that aren't finding what they want on MTGS. If the hostility and hatred on both sides doesn't stop though it will poison both sites and I really don't want that.

Gals is actually a decent guy who seems to be willing to moobwap when needed. If anyone wants to keep zombie gutter going, it sounds like he's willing to go to the mat for that to happen. So it sounds like he wanted to figure out if that was something we cared about, in order to not further piss anyone off unnecessarily.

When you admit wrongdoing, you are culpable for your actions and it becomes your responsibility to make amends for them. In the real world, we have jail, fines, fees, bills, and other time and money expenses that are levied to repair damage.

We're on the internet and personal responsibility ends at whose head hits the floor first. Actions speak louder than words, so if they're intent on whispering, we have chat logs etc that at least blackmark their credit going forward.

There is obviously differing opinions on this, but when the old-timer Gutterites are saying close it I tend to side with them. Just letting it stew would be fine too since the Gutter itself hasn't caused any trouble, but GR, Teefo, Madding, and Azrael seem to be okay with this.
