Should it be bothersome that they've given black drown in sorrow AND bile blight? It really shores up any perceived weakness vs fast aggro decks in some ways, or is it one of those things like "Meh, black gets more removal... oh well."

Mind reaver in mono U devotion? Other than that it these look meh

Drown in sorrow has seen play without scry and in formats without gluts of mana creatures and aggressive swarms so adding scry and having a format the card is actually good in absolutely confirms the card will be a real card in the current and future standard formats. The other two cards have no text on them I'm pretty sure.

Yea, drown in sorrow will see extensive play. Too bad it isn't an instant, tho.
Off the top of my head it deals with aggressive hordes, mana dorks, elspeth tokens, RG planeswalkers tokens, pack rat if you do it quickly, much of the mono U devotion deck...I'm sure there is other stuff but I'm not that into standard
