(For the unitiated: Maverick is a G/W/x Midrange deck, with elements of hatebears and junk, typically (
but not always) build around Green Sun's Zenith)
spent ten minutes trying to post this (chrome keeps logging me off, not sure why), so if the numbers seem off it's cause I'm a lazy bastard.
List I'm going to take to a local tournament tomorrow, haven't played legacy in weeks it feels (damn work and school), haven't tested Dark Confidant in a tournament setting before so heres hoping it does well.

More or less the list I played with this past saturday, I wasn't playing with a 2nd scavenging ooze (and for the life of me I cant think of what my 60th card was, despite everytime I pile shuffled, I counted 61)
2-1-1 Winning against Jund (I got 2 knight of the reliquarys' and his only Deathrite Shaman I plowed, he just couldn't apply enough pressure to me early, g2, I plowed his DRS and wasted his only non black source early, then played Master of the Wild Hunt) Burn (batterskull, Rawr), losing to UWR Delver (he got me turn 5 of turns, his out was Geist of Saint Traft and I knew it and failed to play around that), and drawing in the maverick mirror (G2, I played more to draw the game out than win which probably lost me the game, a few other mistakes early (Abrupt Decaying knight when he had mother online) didn't help, the only reason I played to draw the game out was it took literally 30 minutes to finish the game, g3 we drew, he couldn't get enough damage to kill me t5)
Deck was really sweet, despite me having a only vague recollection of the list.
Cut Dark Confidants, while I thought they were sweet, they just felt
like they were under performing in the deck in Mu's that weren't Jund (in which they were fine), took a few queues from Sunnyveil, and decided to play Master of the Wild Hunt and Stoneforge main.
Also, Noble Hierarch is spectacularly underwhelming as a one-of in the black splash, to my eternal disappointment .
