Hey! my real Name is Alejandro and i am from Chile, got bored of mtgs and realized that the people from "fires of slavation" came here.

I am 25, currently unemployed teacher of English as a foreing Language, Regular PTQer here (I only skip modern season).

To be honest i suck at this game, but i make my best to learn and compete at my highest level, there is a bunch of people in my community that respect me and think that I am pretty good... or decent at least, mostly because i play well most archetypes (i am still goofy with midrange decks though) and from time to time i build a nice homebrew that makes them adjust their sideboards.

oh... btw... our national distributor sucks, and most of our store owners too...

I expect to have a nice time here, learn from you and share my thoughts so you can learn from me if you find something useful in my words.

Cheers! (grabs a beer)

Midrange, I think, is kind of supposed to be a bit goofy; aggro and control have more obvious goals, generally, but midrange you just do what is necessary to push out the win. I like to look at it as taking away from the deck's overarching goals/themes in favor of a little bit more adaptability. :)

that is the thing.

I always end doing the wrong thing, because there are always many different things to do.

I preferred midrange decks. They always offered me the most options in any given scenario.

i feel that more options are more chances to mess up.

I think that Control decks are really easy to pilot, no matter how much island lovers will say that is not for everyone, you don't need to be einstein to play a wrath if your opponent has 3 creatures on board and you have 0.
