Hello! I have recently stopped playing Standard (Type II) and started playing EDH at the local game store. I find EDH to be much more fun and less cut-throat competitive. I also play casual with my close friends, but tend to win with all common/uncommon decks due to them all being new to the game.
Anyways, I hear that this forum is more friendly than other popular MTG forum options *cough* and hope to contribute and receive input! It is nice meeting you all!

I wouldn't describe this place as more "friendly" really, but you won't get stupid bullshit advice that everyone pretends is gold because they're too scared they'll get carded for calling it what it is - stupid bullshit.
But if you value well-thought-out advice and reasoning over inane opinions and strictly enforced niceness then you're in the right place.
