Why didn't you guys tell me that Reddit was the exact same thing as MTGS in terms of poster quality?

Kincey you are a genius

It is possible it wants mystics and more hydras (obviously so after rotation and losnig hellkite)

I was testing against Esper control too for maximum disruption... between Domri and BTE they def can't keep up with the smash

LP, I think you like that Dega Midrange list, right? I think you've posted about it a few times. Maybe I'm getting you confused with someone else. Hopefully we're not stepping on your toes in that thread.

If you are the one I'm thinking of and like the archetype, any desire to post a primer over here?

Pretty sure it's LP you're thinking of but I also think the archetype fell out of his favor recently.

As much as I'd love to contribute to the Dega Midrange cesspool, I can't think of any replies that won't get me modraped.

Reddit is pretty much the worst site for discussion. The nature of the up/down vote system ensures that only the 'popular' (bad) opinions are heard

Oh don't worry, we're all going to get red carded despite being well within the guidelines set fourth. You're smart for staying out.

The Dega thread is just pure comedy. I'm making popcorn now for the entertainment.

This reply makes me want to stab my eyes out with a fork.
"Logical fallacies are only discredited in the process of creating persuasive paper that usually has multiple pages of evidence backing your opinion. In a scene of discussion however, both which is informal and constructive, logical fallacies can be used in a legal manner."

No, no, fucking, no. Fallacies are errors in reasoning. They are wrong in every context.

Apparently, Kamahl like to name drop that his testing buddy is our very own LP.

Maybe, maybe not. (LK did keep his nose out of this one, which is very unlike him!)

Despite that, it doesn't make any difference. The guy is obviously mentally inept.

I think the real discussion point really should be "Why is Ogre Battledriver only three bucks?"

That card is the literal nuts.
It's a promo card,
For what? I was not aware of this.
and it's not that great?
Incorrect statement is incorrect. It will be our new Hellrider in a few months and it makes AIR a much better
archetype. Also quite good in Sledgehammer builds. (Five drops that were previously only "meh" without Haste? NP.) It's good for basically all of the same reasons that Hero of Oxid Ridge was good.
Duels 2014 on PS3.

I don't think anyone got Duels for anything other than Scavening Ooze. (Which was Steam or iOS or something right?)

Either one. Is the promo worth any money? I remember selling the one from the Commander precon for the price of the deck :)

I couldn't stop laughing when I read this one, Dan. His argument essentially is "since your reply pointing
out my logical fallacy isn't submitted in essay format to a literary journal, it is therefore invalid, thus there is no fallacy in my argument."

It's some special bastard of a straw man and a moving goalpost.

My head asplode.

On Starcity it says $40 but I wouldn't expect to get that out of it, being reprinted at rare probably just killed the price.

I honestly don't know what he meant with that word salad of a response. His contention that logical fallacies are ever "legal", whatever the fuck that means, demonstrates that he has very limited understanding of them.

I still don't understand how someone can say Purge the Profane is better than Rakdos's Return. When I looked up tournament results for the last 3 months, Purge hasn't put up any results, while Return has been in approximately 150 decks that made top 16 at large tournaments. Why is he even arguing?

I kind of get the impression that the mainstream of posters on Sally have the notion that the FoS are some sort of rebel, guerrilla fighters with a sole mission to derail threads started up by people they don't like.

I suppose they wouldn't be far from the truth.

The funny thing is, he's still yet to actually respond to anybody, he's still yelling "NU-UH."

It's hysterical because I called it like 2 pages ago.

Paraphrased:
Because he used Purge to a strong finish in a top event that's better than all the other FNM events that people were playing in.

Classic hasty generalization.

I didn't catch your example. Been trying to read through everything at work. Needless to say, I'm not getting much done right now. :p
