With Humble Defector / Flickerwisp, you have to target with FW then tap to draw in response, right?

No, just tap and donate, then Flickerwisp it.

Changing controller won't affect the resolution of Flickerwisp's ability, so do it however you like. I usually wait until after the effect has resolved to see what I've drawn.

If you were to tap after Flickerwisp came in, it would change ownership before Flickerwisp's ability resolves, but it would still work.
Where this actually matters is with Village Bell-Ringer or Restoration Angel. The proper way to do it is activate Defector, hold priority, cast Bell-Ringer or Restoration Angel and put the ability on the stack. With Bell-Ringer you can untap then activate Defector again. With Resto Angel you flicker the Defector before the ability resolves so you don't have to donate it.

Not surprised, that deck is trash. Did they get salty about it? My Jund opponents always do.

Second player rage quit in game two after I grinded through 15 turns in first game and won off Kiki-Jiki.

Since testing my newest iteration, I have not lost a game. And I've played against legit tier 1 decks doing it.
2-0 vs Jund
2-0 vs Jund
2-0 vs Mardu aggro (not tier 1
)
2-0 vs Merfolk
2-0 vs Soul Sisters
The Merfolk match included such highlights as my opponent trying to screw me off red only to be introduced to Flickerwisp. Jund match included me grinding him out with value until turn 15 when I was able to outlive a 13/13 Ooze and combo off with Kiki. Soul Sisters just stands no chance against this deck either.
I'd really like to test against Grixis again as in previous testing I felt that matchup was unfavorable. Thalia should help immensly. Also considering playing around more with the green splash for cards like Huntmaster of the Fells.

I got to play a match against Grixis, but despite having 26 creatures, only drew a Thalia and a Flickerwisp, followed by a bunch of land. Hardly definitive testing
I threw in a Knight of the Reliquary for spice, but haven't drawn it yet. The Huntmaster was the hotness though.

I can't play any more before downtime, but I'd like to see how the deck lines up against Affinity. If it's too top-heavy, I'll carve off a Finks, the 4th Thalia, a land and perhaps the Hero of Bladehold for 3/4 Forked Bolt.

I've settled on Forked Bolt being a necessity at this point. Also, in my experience I want to max out on Wall of Omens before Humble Defector. I'm actually considering going down to three Defectors and shoving in a third Finks or a Huntmaster.
How has 2 vs 3 Kiki worked out for you? Did you test 3 and go down to 2? I've found many games where I've been glad to have 3 Kiki but there are other matchups where I cut one (aggro, blue decks, attrition decks).

WoO is more reliable than Defector, though far less aggressive, so I tend to favor the bear with upside over the wall cantrip. It's just preference, I'll likely settle on a 3/3 split. I just hate drawing a Wall of Omens off of my Wall of Omens
I like 2 Kiki because I often sandbag him until the late game. When I run 3 he's often dead in my hand most of the game.

Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion is an acceptable KWR substitute. Might even be better than KWR.

I'm partial to Slayers' Stronghold.
Sunhome is better because your dude can survive combat more easily. It also does more damage with the three-power creatures in the deck.

Stronghold does allow Wall of Omens to block and kill x/2s though. And it's better with Thalia. And it's better if you want to attack AND defend. Both have different upsides. I just think the deck is defensive enough as is and err toward more aggressive options to even it out.

Played the deck a little this afternoon and feels amazing.
What about an all creatures build to abuse Thalia / Thalia's Pegasus?
A rough sketch (pegasus is a place holder for new thalia pegasus):

I've found Goyf, Tasigur, Primetime, and Gurmag Angler to be too hard to play against without Path. Also I feel like you'd just lose to Twin.

Also it's sweet to have people here testing and tweaking. I've been playing this for a year all alone
I'd drop Mogg Fanatic for PtE, but LD suggested it so I posted it.

I do a lot of janky brewing in my head and was thinking of the best way to abuse Humble Defector. I was reminded of this thread and basically merged your archetype with my ideas and viola! Bastardized BBBSG. Jank level: 11. Salt level: infinite.

I think the strategy is kind of all in, but Path may be a becessary evil.
