I've got nothing from the staff despite a double-bump and a conversation with Gals.

I don't know if that means the discussion behind closed doors is brutal, or if I'm just being ignored as a trouble-maker.

I see Ria has become a lounge consultant, forgive my sarcasm but is he going to give advice on how he ran things while he was admin ? He was a good tech, ill give him that.

How dare you come over to another site - a site of people slighted by you - and tell them how they "should" run things. How have the temerity to come over to a forums run by people you insulted, denigrated, and shit on just to say, "You should stop badmouthing us! You guys are being mean!"

One month ago TO THE DAY, you told me that you would work on getting a Q&A session set up between myself and the other admins. You told me you would keep me apprised. You asked me not to make that information public because it would "force your hand" and if the admins decided not to go with it, you would be seen as covering things up, of not being transparent.

One month. And I have not heard a damn peep from you.

scuttlebutt is that Curse has backed off from the talks. One source inside the corporation has confirmed this is the case, because according to him:

It's unfortunate when a guy who goes around telling everyone in earshot how not mad he is about the internet comes onto your forum to let you know exactly how not mad
about the internet he is.

Its also funny that an admin of another forum is telling you guys what you guys are slowly falling into,

which is hatred toward MTGS and bickering about history , waging petty wars just because you got lied to and banned on a unfair forum as MTGS , and very quickly becoming just like them , with exception that its different usernames.

It's unfortunate when a guy who goes around telling everyone in earshot how not mad he is about the internet comes onto your forum to let you know exactly how not mad about the internet he is.

There has been no "war," unless you consider lampooning internet cynic comedy gold in a parody forum awards to be an all-out "war," but then I don't know what the people who've, yano, actually died or lost limbs or been mutilated or lived in fear or developed PTSD would have to say about having internet comedy jokes compared to
their experiences. Well now I've made myself sad.

People also mourn loss and have a period where they patch up and heal wounds. People have many different ways of doing this. Some people drink. Some people/cultures cry for 40 days straight. Some approach it with humor.

In the middle of our humor mourning period, a bunch of protesters with signs showed up to tell us that God hates fags and spoiled the mood of the affair.

This is a serious question because it's an issue of culture: is cynical or parody-based humor not common in Russia? Particularly online?

Example: do you "get" The Onion?

So do you not see the parallel in our lampooning of politics on the internet with comedy as is common to you?
