Another aggro. I removed Denizen and Dynacharge for Frostburn and Mugging.

3-0-1 for this RTR Block daily splitting the prize for top. My opponent told me he was running Esper so I was thinking if I really should've played it out.

My Facebook feed this morning is full of people in shock about last night's Game of Thrones episode. No spoilers!

My lady came over last night to watch it, but naturally we didn't even make it past the intro.

We're going to give it a second try tonight. Not sure if I actually want to watch it now...
I wouldn't watch it with your girl unless you want to cradle her while she bawls her eyes out.

George R. R. Martin, why you gotta do me like that?

Unless you're a prick.
Surely that couldn't be said of anyone here.

Right?

:scared:
Oh! Oh! Pick me! Me!

Next weeks episode should make people happy. I really enjoyed this weeks. I also like Daario, even if he doesn't have a purple beard like in the books.

Daario's pretty cool. If I had a vagina, it's be moist.

The last 30 seconds of that episode were the worst acting I've seen in the series yet. Yuck.

This is actually true. I was suprememly disappointed with the actors' performances.

Done a couple MM drafts on draft sims. Red looks like the best color by far.

I know everybody's on GRR Martin's nutsack with Game of Thrones on HBO right now and everything, but has anybody here read Steven Erickson's Malazan series? I have only a few books left in it and haven't met anybody else who has read it.

You could say that. I found out Thursday that my wife was pregnant. We already have twins and they are almost 15 months old so I'm simultaneously excited and petrified. This was a huge surprise for us because my wife had fertility issues (endometriosis) which lead us to treatment and eventual pregnancy with our twins. This kiddo just popped up out of the blue so at least we don't have to worry about going through that again.

We are currently going through a scare though. She is spotting and having slight cramps so we fear she may be miscarrying. She had an ultrasound this morning and they confirmed
the sac was still there so that is good. We won't be able to see the heartbeat for a couple more weeks so hopefully everything is okay.

Also, we were supposed to move into our new house Friday but the closing got pushed back because the appraisal got screwed up. Even though the number is good, the appraiser screwed up the comps and value adjustments so they had to send it back out for desk review. Still waiting to hear back from that, which is frustrating because we were supposed to receive information at the end of Friday.

Just found out my LGS will be hosting an SCG IQ on July 6th. I'll probably run my Dos Rakis deck. Expecting to see a lot of control and reanimator with a few aggro decks mixed in. I've been told there are a lot of grixis decks in my local meta. Not sure if Voice is going to make a big showing, but if this last SCG in Baltimore is any indication, I expect to see it a lot in the coming weeks.

Welp...I got the preflight "I just may die in a fiery plane crash and I'm afraid of falling from high places" jitters in anticipation of tomorrow's flight to Arkansas for the 4 day Sam's Club corporate shindig thing.

The only way to get my mind off of this is to travel an hour north to play in a Standard Win-a-Box at a store I've never been too. Oh, and about 8 pints of Miller Highlife and a hefty toke of Mary Jane should do the trick. Currently cranking Metallica's Blackened.

I predict they lose about 20% of their viewer base over the last episode.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. She should hear from bloodwork tomorrow. She'll be due for another draw Wed. They should give an indication on where the pregnancy stands.

Thoughts are with you, Val. Hope everything works out!

@Khaos: If it makes you feel better, 8 pints, MJ, and a motor vehicle are way more likely to kill you than a plane.

Here's some data to think about: the doctor said that the chance of my wife getting pregnant based on her clinical history was 2%. Since we have been living with my in laws for the past 6 months, our sex life has been virtually nonexistent. We did the deed twice last month, which is by far the least frequently we've ever done it since we've been together.

Guess that means we won the lottery.

For the MODO pricing experts, you think I should get a set of Legion's Initiative now while it's in the low 3's?

@LK - Not me dude...after my ex tried to trap me into #3 (red flags were going loud and clear at that point in things), I went and got fixed. Not that I'm in any life position to get anyone with child (read: no prospects whatsoever), but I be shootin' blanks.

Val, you might want to not let your boys taking swimming lessons at Sir Redthirst's School of Ruggededness.

Best of luck to you bro!

With our little poly family both kids are planned out and so far are on track, so mine will be flouncing about right about the time Vasagel gets approved for market.

Seems like a pretty safe bet to me. It didn't see any play in block really, but that isn't to say that Theros won't have some sweet-ass EBT effects that will want a-bouncing.

You could also maybe try playing a few Block Constructed dailies with the card? Maybe see if it has any real potential?

I mean, what, worst case scenario you're out $12? Eh. Not a big deal.

Legion's Iniative is pretty sweet. It's both an anthem and soft wrath protection, even if you don't have ETB effects to abuse.

I traded some cards I wasn't using for a playset, myself. I think it'll turn out to be useful.
