Nobody plays Magic anymore.

I thought I was in this camp. I went to sanctioned magic events exactly 3 times within the past 10 months. As of 10 minutes ago, I'm signed up for the legacy event at Eternal Weekend tomorrow. As expected, I have burn (minus a chain lightning and a few sideboard cards since I never finished the deck )

Is anyone else going?

Currently 4-3 with a few close losses (and close wins!)
I wish I had a better deck, but good decks cost money.

5-3. Feeling better. I should play magic more often. It's fun.

6-3. I'm not sure I have it in me to go 2 more rounds

I had a bunch of fun, especially since it was really a last minute tournament for me

I made a tournament write-up in the legacy burn thread

I was driving my significant other home and was turning left on a 3 way intersection. Pedestrians had the right of way with the crossing sign so I waited for all pedestrians to cross before I turned.

Moments later, a teenager on a skateboard entered the crosswalk from my left (moving in front of the stopped ongoing traffic) while I was midway through the lane so I stepped on my brakes since his body language showed that he wasn't going to stop. He then gave me eye contact shaking his finger at me and shaking his head.

Now he did get a bit of a rise out of me, but I just chose to continue driving and let him have his little justice victory or whatever. I am more so interested in wondering if I was really in the wrong. He did have the crossing sign, but all pedestrians exited the lane completely when I was turning. It's when I saw him through my peripheral vision that I chose to stop. I kind of felt immature for letting a kid get a rise out of me from such a simple gesture. Also, what would you have done?

Is it magic players robbing other magic players or is people from outside the game finding easy marks?

I'm wondering because when I use to player only paper magic all those years ago, I would have no problem trusting people in my LGS.

There is no better feeling than watching someone go all in on Inkmoth Nexus with Ravager only to get blown out by Atarka's Command with reach mode.

Theft tends to get stomped out I've noticed in stores, if it happens, it's GPs with lots of people that you'd need to be worried
