They look really good. I would just suggest taking extra care with the edges of the text boxes. Parts of the old background sticking out from the new paint really detract from the rest of the work.

Agreed, I probably need to let them dry longer before I scrape the borders clean, but I get anxious and want to start shuffling them!

4th alter...gave myself 30 mins. Still trying to learn paint consistency.
You sly devil, trying to sneak in a crotch shot.

Command tower seems like a card that demands more than 30 minutes to get the border extension right. You were also a little heavy on paint. Not that I have any right to be a critic, but that's just what stood out.

I just want Command Tower to look like the TARDIS.

Yeah no doubt. The right side is heavy on the dark blue/black. The colors at the top are hard with the set of paints I have now. Maintaining luminosity gets tough when I am having to mix a bunch of colors.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Alex, but I am very average.... I don't mind, I am usually allowed to put it in any hole I choose without much hesitation.

Damn, I wish I could alter cards in 30 minutes. I've made some pretty decent alters in the past (if I do say so myself), but they're always hours-long slogs. Still working on an altered Blasphemous Act that I started when Innistrad was released...

Not too much thankfully. No need to travel interstate for PTQs now.

What up, gentlemen? Haven't been around much because my legal counsel has advised me to distance myself from DtR until Omar's case is settled.
Also, I've been playing more Pokemon TCG than M:tG lately, so there's that. Anyone here play? From what I remember, approximately 95% of the Pokemon competitive community is about on the same level as your average Sally scrub, which makes any advise I get dubious at best.

There's a rainstorm heading towards me, I'm expecting 3-5 inches of rain in the next day or two. Everyone here is freaking out because we've been in a drought for the last several years and everyone has forgotten what rain looks like.
I'm mostly just hoping that the roads get flooded so I can stay home and sleep in

Yeah, I'm waiting for the rain to start. "Experts" are saying this will be the worst storm we've seen in 10 years. So yeah, it'll sprinkle a little and everyone will lose their minds.

wow I guess everything is relative. We got 4 inches of rain yesterday and it was just a normal late-fall type of day.

Where I'm at, we don't get four inches of rain per year.
