I'm not doing that rant on WIFOM after all because I'm lazy, but I need to chime in here.

When players are saying things like "I would have killed X if I was scum", sure, that's usually WIFOM. However, when someone asks "are scum players more likely to play loose?", you need to apply Occam's Razor.
And actually, let me say what Starbuck was probably trying to say: scum players play very tight. they'll go back over every little post and make sure every little detail is relevant and nothing contradicts anything. If someone makes a townslip, let's say forgetting something about the setup or a role or something, you don't say "oh, he could be scum pretending to -" no. Occam's fucking Razor.

I think I still want to lynch stardust...he's been playing way more loose with gambits and reads this game than I remember him ever playing before.

No that's not my only reasoning. All my previous reasoning still stands. That was just an additional observation.
Don't try to WIFOM. You
are playing more loose, it is an observation. Does it mean you are scum? No. Does it mean you are playing different than normal? Yes.
The way your sentence is worded implies that you want to lynch me based on my loose play. Now you're back pedalling.
It's a little frustrating that I can't reference your scum meta.
I'd really like to hear what people think of Yanni. He's getting away with posting stupid shit and not making any relevant posts.
Yanni passed a test of mine recently, so I'm leaving him alone for the moment. Scummy vote/unvote for me, somewhat scummy vote for TubeHunter then for me, somewhat townie response to my questions. I'll be keeping my eye on him, but he's always an easy mislynch, so it's hard for me to call him scum with much confidence.

I wouldn't use it, because I'd just help the mafia by hitting another townie. I'm probably next on the lynch block, so taking out 3 town (me, my vig, 1 NK) makes this really easy for them.

This is a mess. I re-read the thread and still can't make any sense of it.
I'm inclined to use the vig on TH because Z was pressuring him hard before he killed him. TH is also the only player with a scum motivation that I can identify. Being suspicious of other posters isn't enough for me.
Not going to use the vig, lynch me if you like. I want to leave an extra townie alive on day 2.

I figured as much. I actually like this gambit by you because it almost forced ham to take a stand on someone. Not sure if it clears him one way or the other, though. As scum I think he would have jumped at the idea of killing another townie toDay but it also probably would have sealed his lynch.
