Reasonable answers. Hay Fever does indeed suck. My states was 400 miles away from me. Wasn't going to drive that far for something like that.

Ironically my "States" was 200 miles away while States in Florida was 70 miles away.

Gotta love the proximity of borders. Incidentally, there is a Tough Mudder Pittsburgh that I plan on attending. It's held in Ohio.

I love all the people speculating on what MaRo may have been referencing in regards to the "something people have been asking for to return, and something people have been asking for that we've never done" thing in the Khans announcement. Especially the first part.
My guess? MaRo trolls everyone as Flanking makes a return.

I've been asking for Ninjutsu to make a return.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Awesome. That mechanic was awesome as hell.
Calling it now: Return to Kamigawa is going to be the next set after this silly Khan set. And it will have ninjas.

How many times do I have to say this, Maro said they are never doing another Kamigawa!

My guess is Fetches and enemy man lands. Please don't let the Boros one be a 1/1 double strike...

Thanks for the comments in regards with the short animation guys
hopefully the next batch will improve as a result (though i still need to upload this back log of old stuff before I can work on anything new).
Also for those who don't read the standard section: the clan board members have been doing REALLY well these past few weeks taking top positions in SCG and GTP in the burn thread
so that really good for them, I've also noted we've been getting new board members now at a weekly basis (though I'm not sure if they're all humans or bots) so keep up the good work.
Don't forget to check out Maverick embedding site (how is that working out for ya Maverick?).

I have a new strat of dropping knowledge bombs on SCG/CFB articles and name dropping DTR at the end. Tried it today, hopefully it works.

One of Maro's podcasts. He said it was the least successful set of all time and people didn't connect with it. He said they will not be going back there, ever.

*in an expert expansion. Kamigawa stuff is fair game for supplemental product.

I came up with a version of Zedruu a while back.
Zedruu the Meanspirited [mana]UWRB[/mana]
At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card for each permanent your opponents control that you own.
[mana]UR[/mana]: Donate.
[mana]WB[/mana]: Take back.
Probably pretty broken. May need to tap for those abilities.

I saw a reference on facebook to full-art lands by Therese Nielsen. As full-art lands have never been included in a core set, could that be the second part of what MaRo said?
I'll try to hunt that down.

The lands are judge promos.

Speaking of judge promos, I have a play set of promo Vendilion Clique now.

I'm not sure why they would release these as judge promos, nobody is going to collect enough of them to actually use in a deck because their price is going to be astronomical.

More and more, I realize I need to become a Judge. I've been talking with the local L2s, and apparently it wouldn't take long for me to reach L2 since I have most of the rules knowledge and have a firm grasp of most of the penalties/corrections.
I'd certainly like to be mailed a grand every couple months.

Basically the article I narrate at every tourney I go to. Just shake your opponents hand, and don't be an assehole. Vent away from the table because doing it in front of your opponent is in my opinion disrespectful and bad sportsmanship.

Hmmm, all eight decks in the Top 8 at state were all completely different. Neat.

(wild speculation) I bet they'll use them to encourage people to get into the judge program, which seems to be the trend of their judge-related articles. Basically, the Guru lands of 2014. Even though the Guru lands are silly expensive, people can and will buy enough to use them.

How do you go about getting into the judge program anyways? I'd love to do that myself.

Take look here:
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/tcg/events ... ge/welcome
I looked into it a bit earlier this year, but there's no need for more judges locally so I didn't follow through on it.

And I don't think you get the Judge Foils unless you judge at premium events and then only if you're level 2+, I think. So if you're planning on becoming a judge just for the rewards, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons.
