To be fair to yanni (or whatever he wishes to be called) and Thrillo, a lot of people thought Ashiok was bad/meh.

i was pretty straightforward about how ashiok wasn't liliana and that we're probably not going to see it take center stage until after the format has righted itself but that it was a good card because it being a planeswalker nephalia drownyard does not make it bad because it's not a land but good because it's a planeswalker. i also went out of my way to make fun of people who were saying it was tibalt because let me tell you about how much i love tibalt and how much this card is not tibalt.
