Nope. I wasn't saying I wanted you to take me - the first time I read "do you want to go?" it sounded like you were picking a fight.
I'm a little further north in South Carolina.

If I read Godsend right; if your dude is not blocked, your dude gets removed?
No. Your dude has to either block or be blocked.

I'm on page 1000.
Still haven't managed the 4096 square, but I think I'm done with that game.

@khaos do you wanna go?
I'm right here, bro.
You just made my day. Lol I pretty much say that on a daily basis.
Also, I just got called a "brainless red player "on Facebook today, so I guess my day has been made twice.

@Khaos, How can you be brainless playing Skullcrack and Erebos against Ajani. Go ahead, try to gain 100 life. In Modern,
Rain of Gore just got interesting.

That's not a thing in decks that exist, though.

I can't answer this on account of being brainless and all.

I played it in Walter Black, it was alright. I usually called Detention Sphere since it was the only card I outright couldn't beat, but to each their own.

Really? I've seen Slaughter Games all of...three times since it came out? Always sideboard, always 2-of, always in bad decks that I rolled over.

I have been testing B(r) devotion and it rapes UW. I ran 4 Slaughter Games in the side board. I usually named Elspeth, Sun's Champion first. I get access to Dreadbore, Anger the Gods, and burn spells. Oddly, I would always loose to GW midrange. Slaughter games might make a come back. You never know.

Detention Sphere was unbeatable for me because Phoenix is a large part of my gameplan. Everything else was easy for me to kill.
I've abandoned the deck anyway.

Slaughter Games is a reasonable answer to Scapeshift and the Ad Nauseam combo decks in Modern, since they're over-reliant on a single card win condition. Nothing in Standard is built that way, so it's a bad choice.

Same here as GW midrange has 3 players in my local FNM.

slaughter games has been okay in standard at the right times, it has stripped me of rev and won the game, it has done serious work in modern
it's fine, just another version of the extraction effect
theyre often good, never great, rarely needed

If multiple turn deck with Sage of Hours pops up; it might be a thing? Still a very narrow need.

I got it to work one time against some kid running that god damned infinite combo Humanimator deck. T4 Slaughter Games targeting Angel of Glory's Rise, T5 Slaughter Games targeting Fiend Hunter, scoop. It was Christmasland.
EDIT: "Got it to work" as in "played it and it won me the game".

I'm surprised he scooped, that deck won most of its games off creature beats. Guess I don't know enough about the board state.

They usually spent the first few turns filling up the GY, so he probably had no board. I preferred Rakdos Charm for GY shenanigans, occasionally it was a blowout vs. a token deck that was always at my LGS.

I don't think he knew how to run it. Game 1 I played T1 Stromkirk Noble, T2 Ash Zealot, T3 Reckoner, and then he scooped. Game 2 he got the combo off, and I hadn't boarded because I didn't see his deck at all game 1. Game 3 I double Slaughter Games and he scoops again.
I find out later that night he'd bought the deck whole on eBay and it had arrived that day.

Man, this sounds exactly like some kid who used to play at the LGS I used to go to, right down to the way he'd buy decks wholesale off of eBay. Always so annoying to play against 'cuz of shit like this, he'd do shit like scoop game 1 and say something like "You won 'cuz your hand had more money in it" when the biggest ticket card I'd be holding was like a Wall of Omens or
something and his hand was just a grip of Vengevines.
