There's probably something there about handling a fire hose too.I over heard the following most RedThirst comment ever while at the mall on lunchbreak:
"WTF? Why is she wearing a firemans hat in this picture?"
"Cause I set her pussy on fire mate."
I promptly snorted and choked and got a nose full of pepsi.
Thats a reward for doing exceptionally well.Or drinking from a fire hydrant.
I highly doubt that programmer could beat Magnus Carlsen. What I don't get is: why? There's a human programmer behind that AI. He should get the credit for being "smarter" than the human players.
You're goddamn right I would!Hey, Khaos! Would you like a Bloody Mary?
Unfortunately no, that pic is a product of the interwebs.Jesus Fucking Christ, Doc, Please tell me you really made that. And devoured all of it.
But he could, and did, with his program. The programmer knows all the correct logic, as displayed by the fact that his program, his logic, his design is better than any human at chess. All the computer does for him is the math.I highly doubt that programmer could beat Magnus Carlsen. What I don't get is: why? There's a human programmer behind that AI. Game on >:)Chess, sure, but could he win the Drownyard mirror?
This is really painful. But he could, and did, with his program. for him is the math.
If I - at 5'9" 149lbs with very little training other than long-distance running - built a robot and programmed it to wrestle and beat James, would that make me stronger than him?But he could, and did, with his program. The programmer knows all the correct logic, as displayed by the fact that his program, his logic, his design is better than any human at chess. All the computer does for him is the math.
Not stronger, but I would say it makes you smarter than him.If I - at 5'9" 149lbs with very little training other than long-distance running - built a robot and programmed it to wrestle and beat James, would that make me stronger than him?But he could, and did, with his program. I mean, all the computer does for me is the fighting, amirite?

Well, at least this version would have a plot.Pacific Rim 2: James wrestles a robot and destroys Melbourne
Pacific Rimjob 2: James wrestles a robot and destroys its anus
I'd watch it.Pacific Rimjob 2: James wrestles a robot and destroys its anus
Playing chess and programming an AI are two very different things. Not stronger, but I would say it makes you smarter than him.If I - at 5'9" 149lbs with very little training other than long-distance running - built a robot and programmed it to wrestle and beat James, would that make me stronger than him?But he could, and did, with his program. I don't get why would that be "pacific" at this pointPacific Rimjob 2: James wrestles a robot and destroys its anus
My point is, the computer doesn't think in any way that the programmer can't. It doesn't know any moves that a human doesn't. It's not a robot that can physically beat the other player.Playing chess and programming an AI are two very different things.
The computer doesn't think, period. It just does what it's told to, using an amount of raw computational power that no human mind has access to, without experiencing fatigue, stress and the likes. My point is, the computer doesn't think in any way that the programmer can't. It doesn't know any moves that a human doesn't. It's not a robot that can physically beat the other player.Playing chess and programming an AI are two very different things.
In my mind, the number one chess player programmed that AI.
