MAGIC ONLINE ANNOUNCEMENTS AUGUST 13, 2014: POLICY UPDATE (source)
Bribery
Players may neither offer nor accept booster packs, rewards, or any other objects in exchange for modifying the outcome of a game or match. For example, during round two of a three round Swiss event, if player A says to player B “Concede to me for 2 tickets,” this is bribery and subject to conduct action. The only exception to this is discussed in “Prize Splitting.”
Prize Splitting
In the final round of an event, two players matched against each other may negotiate their match result to split whatever prizes are at stake between them, including (but not limited to) Qualifier Points and invitations. Offering prizes
outside those Magic Online would award based on the outcome of that match to the participants is still considered bribery. All prize splits are done at the players’ own risk, and Magic Online will not enforce any agreed-upon splits in any situation.
Collusion
A player or players working together to gain an unfair competitive advantage in an event. An example of collusion includes sharing knowledge of draft picks with other players of an event during the drafting portion of that event.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Basically nothing has changed, they're ok with splitting just as long as you "don't sweeten the deal" with things like extra tickets or whatnot.

I log into MTGO for the first time in a while and wow - I find out they're holding a Vintage Masters as the limited Championship this month
I know the limited PTQ is also at the end of this month, but Kait and IO2 you guys should give the limited championship a shot: Qualifiers are currently firing (they should last until till the week ends).

I have 'some' amount of money and can feasibly get into mtgo. How much am I looking at to make a full boros burn deck?

I have 'some' amount of money and can feasibly get into mtgo. How much am I looking at to make a full boros burn deck?
Roughly 180 dollars (source), rotation is happening soon though.
It is possible to make back all your money and go inf. (it would take some dedications (intense grind) or a few months of victories) though if go by all the "inf" guides online its not easy... that said I'm under the impression it isn't that hard based on the comments from the guys on the Burn thread.

Doing just dailies, it works out to going 3-1 in at least 1/3 of your events.
Assuming 3tix per pack
Entry: 6 tix
3-1 prize: 6 packs (18 tix)
Extra wins can let you sell off packs to buy your cards once you get a bankroll started.

Jesus... even the inf. players will question entering that one, I can't find the details on the vintage master championship are the prizes really good or something (maybe its will be like appreciation events where you can keep what you open in the during the championship + whatever prizes you win)?

Twitch has implemented a policy where my stream will be muted if I'm playing copyrighted music. Very annoying, since I tend to play instrumental piano underneath my X-2 drops and that genre isn't known for great amateur music that I can play royalty-free.

If a red mage scrumps in the woods, but nobody is around to laugh, did it happen?

It only mutes the recordings. We were able to hear it all over stream. I have been running into the same issues as well. Good to have you back.

Ah, if it only censors the archive then I'm less concerned.
It was fun to get back on stream again

Ugh well I went ahead and bought a mutavault-less shockland-less deck with no sideboard (or at least a very small one). Using guildgates and painlands and temples. Except nowhere on the site did they say they had delivery hours and now I have to wait until monday. I assumed a bot would process my order and deliver my digital cards the moment they received payment.
Literally every mtgo guide I read was just advertising their own site so I didn't read any. I probably got screwed on pricing too for all I know

????
Where did you buy it from? If you made a trade with an online bot it happens instantly - I usually use Goatbots for convenience sake since I sell my booster too them, but when I'm bother to hunt for a bargain I buy them from digging around the trade area or using http://mtgowikiprice.com/.

I bought from http://www.abumtgo.com/ because they seemed cheaper than the first google result which was http://www.mtgotraders.com/
Whatever, I'm sure I'll get my cards tomorrow I just wanted to get as much practice in before a few live events coming up in the next few weeks for me. I bought them friday night so that's like 3 days delay that's bumming me out

yeah I got them. Only a full 72 hours after I paid. That was a bit grueling. I learned how to actually use sellbots now though
There is no mtgo guide for people like me

I've had great experiences with MTGO Traders, recommend them highly if you can wait a half hour for delivery (during business hours). If you need it right away, bots are your own personal Jesus.
