Good. You'll soon be on our side with all the people who don't play Magic.

I enjoy playing Magic a lot, but the cards so far haven't done anything for me. The bad Dark Confidant has it's possibilities, but at this point, not $10 worth of possibilities.

Calling someone a scumbag is an infractable offence.

Edit: Unless you're staff (eg. Arcadic), of course.

it's not even $.50 worth of possibilities.

I hope indistinguishable-from-legitimate Chinese counterfeits ABSOLUTELY DESTROY the secondary market for any card worth over $5. I hope Ben Bleiweiss wakes up one morning and looks at his cardboard kingdom with an even greater than normal urge to commit seppuku for his shameful actions.

It really is too bad MTGO has spent the last 10 years farting around rather than providing a product people might want to jump onto if their physical collection goes to hell, isn't it?

Prejudice based on nationality does not constitute racism. Nations of the same race often have prejudice against each other when they have a history of conflict.

Also, "Chinese" is not a race, you racist fuck.

Obama cares about race issues because of his Irish ancestry.

I expect them to fix mtgo after hearthstone goes open beta and it becomes too late

Is hearthstone actually going to be good enough to cause mtgo any concern?

I've been playing a game called Solforge lately that's pretty good too. Online card games are the way of the future!

Apparently Candy Crush makes pretty close to $1 million every day. So I guess there's a market there.

My brother (the one who made that Allegiance game I was shilling for a while back) is actually looking into developing an online card game. We'll see where that goes.

I played that game right until it went into Open beta and took all the cards away.

Then I couldn't be bothered to reacquire them

All discussion of the Chinese counterfeits is now forbidden on MTGS, as Xenphire has developed the ability to see the future.
We're going to give this topic a break for a bit. We've had to close several threads across the forums about the subject because many users can't discuss the topic in a mature and civilized fashion, and this thread would end no different.

Thread closed.

Neither of those games are going to challenge modo in any real way. Magic players want to play magic; if you are invested in modo you are invested in magic. If you are a casual, modo has likely scared you away already

That's what i'm thinking, i can't think of heavily invested players dropping everything to run to the newest thing. incoming playerbase and some casual players will be lost, but that's not really where the money is anyway.

True, magic players want to play magic, they don't want to use MTGO however.
