I remember getting to the finals of an Odyssey draft and being rolled by a Phantom Nishoba.

I just haven't seen enough strange news stories as of late. I look forward to getting my news here at D2R and it's either been very slow in the news world or you're off your game. Also, are you watching Smackdown?

I don't watch Smackdown since the spoilers for it are up on Tuesday

It was great 12 years ago when the WWE treated it like a top tier show but now it's just supplemental material for the main Raw storyline

I watch it when there's nothing else on and tonight is one of those nights. There's been some good matches as of late though.

I'm so fucked up as a functional human being at this point that when you said My Gal I thought you mean Galspanic
No, Galspanic is the guy who banned my Gal from MTGS after I've told him there wasn't any chance I'd ever appeal in the rape cave. That was the lowest I've ever seen the guy drop.

by Col. Khaddafi
Also taking into account that while he was encouraging me from appealing a ban that was outright arbitrary, he was posting shit like the one quoted below in the comfort of his mod lounge.

I am truly deeply sorry for not being willing to appeal but I'm here to discuss things calmly with people earnestly interested in establishing an honest dialogue. What I'm not here is to entertain the fantasies of internet rapists.

I am also deeply sorry that my wife was involved in shit that had nothing to do with her just become some nobody had a huge internet grudge about some random guy who lives in another continent.

I just reread this all and I get the impression that you might think I am saying no more bans - That is not the case. I do not want people like Tormod, who really aren't that disruptive but are one infraction away from being banned permanently, to have some room to work with us. I think that for a lot of semi-trouble users long suspensions will be just fine and I want us to be more liberal in issuing those. But full on bans need to be reserved for seriously ****ed up things and the worst people on the site. The unmoderatable.

People that I think suspensions are okay with that we've had issues with:

Banned:
( N_S ) - He's been okay lately off site, but as recently as 2 weeks ago was browsing CI with Pinkfloyd's account. I started piecing together his personal history and he's been an absolutely unrelenting since Fall of 2011. There is a wake of destruction in his path that goes back at least that far. He is just too damaging to the site for me to
believe that he can ever NOT be a problem that will take out staff members.
Rippers - They stole stuff.
(...)

Sooooo, that's where I am at with that.

Speaking of old shit, I found the most interesting thing Boub posted while he was here was the following.

3. The purchase happened in December. Before that, it was just negotiations and people hearing about it, the discussion has been going on for months (like, 6 months+)

I thought 6+ months ? that would be just before the announced closure of the Gutter thread.
That is indeed a very good catch, well played Blackhound.

In my country there is a saying that goes: "You will catch a liar faster than a cripple". Not that we were still doubting that we were continuously lied to, but its nice to see someone trip over his lies.

Really, very good catch.

I mean, to this day I'm still dumbfounded about all this. Never in my all life I've seen people lying for so long about so many stuff. And to think that I saw this happen on an internet forum about magical cards even baffles me more, as I'd just expect such kind of stuff to happen over more serious IRL shit.

So many effing BS. The Closure of the Gutter thread, The "you guys harassed an innocent bystander but we're not telling who", the Gutter-Pegging staff endless discussions, banning everyone and slandering them to boot by announcing everyone was banned for malicious actions against the website, like if we were some master hackers or something. I mean at some point you have to admire the effort these guys put in weaving such an intricate web of lies. Goddamn, it takes serious internet dedication to pull such a feat!

Like people like Nai should have countless internet trophies for all the quality deception
they pulled for moths. Hot damn!

I have one dedicated browser just for posting on Sally. I can never go wrong.

Also I make a point out of registering a least two new gimmicks whenever they catch one. I haven't made this much new ones though, given their general incompetence.

Well we in our community weren't having that much fun. Bear in mind that they were discussing about shutting down an old group of tight-knight friends and we didn't even had a backup plan a the time (the offer to host us from this site came later).

I'm not proud of it, but I admit I was internet mad for the first time in my life because of this. I managed to calm down like one moth or two later when I thought this was ridiculous and stopped participating in the discussions, so I just said I'd stop posting elsewhere than in the gutter.

Then out of the blue (coincidence?) Sene banned me and went to bed. The rest is history.

But yea, essentially they were duplicitous cowards who lied to everyone (people they once called 'friends' included) in order to perpetrate a scheme against a harmless community of posters with PG-13 sensibilities. They covered up for a grown man having an emotional meltdown over an internet power trip (Rianalann) and decided to accuse anyone critical of them for slander, malicious actions, etc.

Posted: Sat Jun 29, 2013 2:32 am

Now they get all huffy whenever someone here makes a snarky post on Ugly Sally because it's a reminder of their (failed) fuckup and (successful) destruction of a once thriving community.
