There's got to be a joke in that exchange.
Redthirst wants a medium.

Something, something, can't take what he dishes out... That's a start. Somebody else finish it.

I wish I wore t-shirts. :(
What do you wear instead?
I'm pretty much strictly a button-down kind of guy. It's hard to look sharp in a t-shirt.

1. Zendikar block to Mirrodin Beseiged; 81% (Koth, Goblin Guide, Lightning Bolt)
2. Return to Ravnica block to Theros; 78% (Chandra, YP)
3. Innistrad block to Return to Ravnica; 74% (Shrine of Burning Rage)

PTQ in St. Louis on Saturday. Who's going (other than me)?

Also funny story I was working on my monored 1v1 commander deck. I realized that all 4 of my phoenixes were tied up in standard, so I needed a 5th. Had an unopened pack of m14 that I bought to meet a debit card limit at lgs. Crack it open, it's a phoenix. God I love it when shit lines up like that.

Thirdly, doc is awesome.

Finally, I kinda know those feels alex. I rarely wear t-shirts, 80% button down, 15% polo, 5% tshirt, roughly.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I mostly wear polos. The only tshirts I own were given as presents. I have a nice custom one with a wolf on it I wear for wrestling comps that pip made.

Near to a button down as I have in stock is an XL maroon polo, with no pocket. That's not to say I can't get a button down, but sales/purchasing isn't my department and it's outside the realm of "free".

Button down guy myself, though I do wear T-shirts from time to time.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

I'll be passing through St. Louis on my way back from visiting my family in Chicago for Thanksgiving. Sadly, not enough time or even money to make more than a brief stop.

I've started wearing more t-shirts as I've gotten older. The
college requires button downs, ties, and slacks when I teach, so I guess the t-shirts are a sign of rebellion against that.

The only tshirts I wear as of late are my umsl dragshow tshirts (the umsl gsa put one on every semester, and as much as I hated those catty bitches I helped them with the drag show because it was a ton of fun), my game master shirt (the gm is always right, cruel, sadistic, and vicious, but right) and my dissension prerelease tshirt (why did they stop selling those at prereleases? I lost my cok, bok, sok, rav, and guildpact ones). If I had an FOS shirt it would probably work it's way into the rotation, though probably only for events.

@doc; first I don't thing anyone was actually asking for clan button downs, and if we were going to do that they would look way better embroidered than silkscreen'd. And come on, you know you want to play the PTQ, and given the shop it's being held in and it being the Saturday after thanksgiving, your odds of qualifying should be higher than normal. The shop it's being held in is the
lgs I frequent, and a lot of the regulars are going to be unable to attend from what the conversation was like yesterday.

I pretty much run this city. I design for a few bars in Buckhead in my free time (lots of bartender friends and used to bartend), I know where all the hoes be.

Also, being a designer I can help with shirt designs.

Born of the gods will be out too, I can't wait for a group of us to show up with the same deck and run the tourney.
You should hang around more, Purp.

Sadly I don't think we'll all be repping the same deck - I imagine most of you will be playing Walter White while Khaos and I will be smashing people with big ass dargons.

Also, I almost exclusively rock the T - anything more and the sexiness would be just too much.

My lady agrees with Z. We went to browse the 50th anniversary Doctor Who merchandise yesterday, she was sad that the 10th Doctor's sonic screwdriver was sold out.

I bought a Dalek figurine for my work desk.

It's not so much that I don't want to as it is the wife's dad and grandmother are visiting and I have an obligation of the family variety. Doesn't come up often, but damn the luck it comes up the same weekend the pickings at a PTQ are the ripest.

We do silkscreen some button downs and polos. Usually when the customer wants their stuff on the cheap. Almost always looks like crap. Embroidery is in fact the way to go.

Tenant > eccleston > all the old doctors I have watched very little of > smith. I can't be 100% certain of whether it was smith or a change of writers, but smith's first season made me abandon the show. I should probably catch up on torchwood, captain jack is FABULOUS!!! (One of the perks of being gay, fabulous becomes far more usable once you come out of the closet).

One day I will invest in Legacy. I keep thinking I will never be able to, but then I realize I'm thinking of Vintage.

I spent 15 minutes and did this.
That was a thinly veiled brag...
I mean, it's just a font I downloaded for free... not like I put my nose to the grind or anything.

I think Purp is going to throw in on a design or two as well, that way you guys have options to pick from. Atlanta is in March, you say? That's plenty of time.

If everyone is playing Mono U, Mono B or Esper; then Boros is the best positioned deck, not close. Don't even need to sideboard for RDW mirrors in paper!
