Hey, good news, actually multiuote already is installed by default in phpbb3.
Its just that the way it works is different from what some of us were used in the vbulletin forums.
Here is a tutorial on how to multiquote:

Edit: Not entirely, there is no link to the second post in the quote.

We're going to need moderators other than myself for the MTG sections of the community. I've not played a game of modern in my life, and I'll be stretched on too many other fronts to give them the TLC they'll need to grow.

There have been volunteers for everything but Standard and the Rumor Mill. I can cover the Mill with you if you want.
I'm removing you from the ones who have already volunteers.
EDIT: Cannot figure out how to remove you for now, will look into it later
EDIT2: Figured out what I was doing wrong. Fixed your workload Azrael, we should be getting more volunteers anyway.

By the way, I made a post in the sally staff inbox giving them a vague heads up and clearing the path for a recruiting campaign.
We're clear to move on that front. They're taking it pretty well, actually.
You can PM me if you care to see what I wrote, or the thread contents.

I've been trying to fix this for hours, and only managed to make things worse.
I'm giving up on this for the time being. Assume that with the way multiquote is done, you only get the first post linked for now
I think I'm gonna upload some magic icons (wubrg et al.) and forget about this one. It has
been pretty annoying.

OK, so I uploaded all the mana/guilds icons. There are tons of them. Can an admin who has free time make the tags for them? for now I just put : magic : as a placeholder.
They will need to be ordered too so it makes sense. like wubrg first, then 1,2,3, etc... and so on.
Leave them at not displayed on the posting table, otherwise it clutters too much
The Heroic Volunteer can make the tags like in MTGS:

A symbol I worked out today on a laptop w/ trackpad (gross). Everything can be changed, and I can get a bigger version, though I'd need to remake it with better original renders.

And GR, I think that is normal
The problem was when I tried to write the mana symbols like they are in the cards (with no spaces between them):
:symu::symb::symr::symg:

Oh great, nested quotes .
I guess we just need [mana] up and running at some time.

This is really cool. I could use a bigger version to work from once we're sold on a domain.

yeah, I always use
in place of card
and are you going to be implementing [card={cardname}*]randomtext[/card*] anytime soon? (With card working, that should also be a quickie).

then we shall have it here too
guttersnipe[/c*] gives (minus the *) [c]guttersnipe

indeed it is a quickie:
[card=this is not guttersnipe]guttersnipe[/card*] gives (minus the *) [card=this is not guttersnipe]guttersnipe[
/card]

Funny how there are now two cards with "Gutter" in their names...

Just at the same time The Gutter starts to get popular with WOTC, and MTGS decides to get rid of theirs. Go figure.

If you make that into a 16x16 .ico file, that's a favicon, and those are the little icons webpages show in the tabs of your browser...

Thought they were 32*32
I doubt it will be useful at 16*16, and I suck at manual aliasing.

Right now, the formatting for quotes requires the following format:
[quote="name"']
If possible, it'd be simpler with the following format:

Can we get stacking spoiler? Currently, [*spoiler=xyz] looks for the first [*/spoiler] tag. Can we fix it to look for the first one not used by another (nested) [*/spoiler] tag?

Multi-quote would also be excellent, especially if we're hosting mafia in the future.

I've looked into this. the "" exist for a reason, they delimit fields and allow upgrades of the quote function (such as the one I've implemented for linking)
the best I could do was making a [*quot=author]text[/quot*] with what you wanted:

It already exists natively in phpbb3, its just that the way it works is different from what we are used with vbulletin.
