If only.

I got to support my mead habit somehow. Pillaging isn't what it used to be. It's a sad day when a Viking has to make an honest living.

A little late, but I went 6-0 at FNM running a slightly modified Big Boros list. I only lost a single game that night, was kind of on fire and got lucky a few times. I'm liking this deck a bit more than PyroWhite. It's nice to have a few cards I can back on to be my super moves to win the game with a must answer threat.

You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

There was this Tron player... Ham exiled his Wurmcoil Engine and then I think Thoughtseized his Karn. Dude's next two draws: Karn and Wurmcoil Engine.

Not even homoerotic chit-chat could falter his use of the masterfully learned skill of top decking a Wurmcoil.

@ Alex. 2 power flier beats and burn. Usually the early game is tough; but once the engines are online the game cascades very quickly.

I need to get involved in this MODO business. I think I'll have a much better time grinding if my opponent is a faceless peon instead of one I have to smell and talk to.

The girlfriend got me into watching Sherlock. Amazing show; just finished episode 3.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's Sherlock Holmes set in modern-day Britain. Six episodes currently, each 90 minutes long. And Sherlock reminds me a lot of L from Death Note.

Oh, and like I said in the Boros Burn thread, the GPT I was gonna go to only had five people show up so the event never fired. So that was a fun waste of time.
If you don't know how to lie, then how do you know if you're being lied to?

The answer? Use a gun. And if that don't work... use more gun.

Smallest GPT I've ever been to was 12, and we played it lol.
