My overprotective parents thought that Ghostbusters might have been too intense for me when I asked to go see it. I was 13 when it came out. :confused2: There's a lot about my life that I don't tell my family.

Magic players are just the worst people.

I was playing Legacy Storm, and I'm at 6 life. Opponent is playing MUD(artifact ramp combo) and has lethal on board. I make 9 mana with 3 Lion's eye Diamonds and have an infernal tutor to resolve. My only options are Past in Flames, and Ad Nauseum since I only have a storm count of like 2. At six life with such a low storm count and having used half of my zero cost spells, I deduce that Ad Nauseum will likely just kill me since I'd need to hit a zero artifact and running rituals along with a turo while if I get past in flames, I can flashback a ponder to see up to 4 cards needing 1 ritual.

I naturally go with Flames, my opponent questions it, I tell him my reasoning, I cast the ponder, see 2 rituals on top. Take dark ritual, cast it. Flashback probe, play cabal ritual. Flashback past in flames(it doesn't give cards played after it flashback), make millions of mana get my
Tendrils and win.

Opponent? "You misplayed and won. Fucking noob :p"

RAGE RAGE RAGE. I hate magic players.
You gotta understand, I love the beatdown. I really do. I always have.

Beatdown is hard, though.

You could always ask yourself WWKD? (What would Khaos do?)
In this case, down a half gallon of mead, scream incoherently in Old Norse, and then piss on them.

You might get a warning from a judge, though.

This, by the way, is how I imagine Khaos ending every game of Magic.

I love "misplaying" and winning. It means my opponent is a big enough idiot that I can keep winning against them.

You do need to try to gay it up a little more.

You're like the least gay member of this clan.

And that's counting the fact that you voluntarily have sex with men.

I just punted to a Boris aggro deck..Game 2 decided to mully when I shouldn't have and got left with a really shitty hand. Game 3 the hexproof from red bastard got me, so that game was fair, but game 2 was terrible on my part.

Can't win them all.

Last time I played against Boros, dude played his Fiendslayer Paladin and looked at me like he was waiting for me to drop a deuce as I realized the gravity of what he just did. Mogis pinged him for lethal next turn. "Next draw would have won me the game," of course. Some people always seem to have been one draw from GG.

I had a guy do that to me. He was less than pleased when I attacked into it with a Cackler and then used Boros Charm to make it indestructible, gaining a token from Young Pyro in the process. Killed him the turn after by attacking and then Jetting him for lethal. Control players really don't like to be controlled.

I am having a terrible fnm. 1-2 atm. Punted to boros aggro, beat a terrible maze's end, then got destroyed by a U/W control with 2 MoW.

Really upset with myself, this is proly my worst fnm in a long time. Might be first time wIth no prize-packs in almost a year.

and just when I was feeling good about myself too -depressed-

Don't let one bad experience tilt you so badly. It happens.

Last FNM, I got destroyed first round by a guy who had been playing for about two months, which was not a good sign for the night. I bought a Purphoros playmat to make myself feel better, and then went on to a 3-2 finish. Not a stellar night of Magic by any means, but it was great listening to other people talking about me and my deck. Chained to the Rocks took a lot of people by surprise. So it ended up being fun.

I know its only cockatrice, but almost 1-3 matches seems to be the same Dorks, prophet, and for some fucking reason, primordials. with the usual dumb green crew.
