Honestly, Kaze, "Sugar, we're going down " is probably the worst song ever recorded.

But hey, even bands like Metallica drop a LOAD every once in awhile.

Wait I just bought Death & Taxes. Fuck. Nvm.

Checked my bank account and got seriously disappointed.

Well, darn. Oh well.

Looks like I have to get dressed and go out in public today after all.

Khaos - as long as Fall Out Boy and emo music in general exists, yes, there actually is something worse than Nickleback.

There are two things that can make me rage in the blink of an eye: emo music and shitty drivers. Oh, and Heineken. Three things.

Thinking about angry bands from childhood, I started to really miss Rage Against the Machine.

People who assert that there is "bad" music piss me off - so you don't like it, cool. You think it is less technically complex, cool. It wasn't made for you. Music preferences are a very individual thing and people listen to it for different reasons. And by the way, I don't listen to emo music. But respect, redbros.

Sorry Kaze :/

And here I was going to leave you guys alone, but it seems some of you are unfamiliar with their recent work. Allow me to help familiarize yourselves! ;D

Shall I continue or shall the musical closed-mindedness cease now?

I mean, I have several more queued up if the latter is so.

Nothing makes me more upset than hearing people proclaim from the rafters how terrible X is. Any music, all music has its place.

But there really is bad music. "New Country" is really bad music. Any Metallica music Load and later is really bad music. People can like bad music and that's fine. I don't have a problem with people having poor taste. Let's just not pretend that it's good.

Kaze is music's Thrillho.

Not the Thrillho it wants,
but the Thrillho it needs right now.

Case in point - I own Metallica's St Anger album, but I'm the first to admit it's really, REALLY bad.

So what is "bad" music? Music that isn't technically or harmonically complex? Music that rehashes chord patterns? You're applying a totally arbitrary standard based on your own preferences.

"Good" and "bad" are subjective on a taste level.

I fucking hate mushrooms. Do I proclaim from the rafters that mushrooms are disgusting every time they're brought up in conversation?

Yes. They're a fucking fungi. Why do people eat those?

But they're disgusting to me. That's a perspective I have. if I seriously held the ideal that mushrooms are inherently bad and anyone who likes them has bad taste in food that'd be going a bit far. That's what I don't like.

As for Fallout Boy, all I have to say is, how does that guy perform in a fucking hoodie? Stage lights are fucking hot and after a song or two (and a drink), I'm already sweating like a whore in church.

I like the first two songs. Sometimes. Death Magnetic was pretty good. But let's face it, they'll never be the band we loved during the Cliff Burton era.

Not gonna lie I want a fan monitor like Steve Vai. He has a triple-speaker monitor where the middle speaker is removed and there's just a fan.

I can't possibly wrap my head around why someone would like a shitty, talentless, whiny, and outright annoying band like Fall Out Boy. They're actually worse than Nickleback. Really, I'd rather listen to the worst Nickleback song played on a loop on my way to work than that shitty "da da in a lillilura" slit my wrists gay Emo track you call a song.

Click this link to see just how ridiulous your shitty band looks to normal people:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqaK5300B6Y
There'
s something worse than Nickleback? That's a bold statement.

"I like your pants around your feet..."
I'll probably lose any respect y'all had for me for this, but I actually like Nickelback o.o (And that specific line is from 'Figured You Out', which is one of my favorite songs by them)
I will agree all day long that they are repetitive, uninspired, and about as far from musical innovative as you could get.

I don't listen to music that critically though, and what matters to me is that they are just enjoyable to listen to... -shrugs-

But yeah, not 'good' by most definitions, but enjoyable to listen to nonetheless, which is enough for me.

Honestly, Kaze, "Sugar, we're going down " is probably the worst song ever recorded.

...St. Anger...

Khaos - yeah and that sucks. What REALLY ruined St Anger more than anything was the production. That every song has Lars sound like he's playing drums on a trash can is just awful.

They "have that barnyardy, fecal taste". (Andrew Zimmern) Yeah they suck, and grow off of dead stuff or poop. You are what you eat, but have yet to grow a doughnut's hole in middle of myself.

WHO DARE MESS WITH THE BATMAN SYMBOL
WITH SUCH SACRALIDGE! :flame:

As for music, I listen to talk radio and movie soundtracks.

Also, since we're discussing music, I'm just gonna throw this out here, since I try to convert people to them whenever I can.

Van Canto, 'A cappella' metal. 5 vocalists and a drummer, no guitars.
This is their cover of Battery by Metallica.
