Hi GR,
Please stop referring to Teia as Teita. It's insulting. Further use of this term will be considered flaming.
Thanks,
Stardust
This is back from when Stardust embraced cowardice and almost went full PGtard. Luckily he was saved by the healing power of trolling and spam.

Dux, why do I have this nagging feeling that you are actually fed up with MTGS/The Game/whatever and you are wanting to distance yourself from that site through the classic "Suicide by Mod" technique?
Duxx probably feels more and more emasculated with each passing mod cave summit and coming here is his subconscious way of regaining his sense of manhood.

Well, that wasn't exactly what I was going for when I said you could post something other than "your mom" posts, but I guess this works too.
Anyway, what is the morale of the story you are hinting at?
(this is just idle chat btw, nothing more, in case you think this is a trap or something)
No morale or motive. I was just browsing the retired desks and came across a few I found interesting.

Duxx, I've heard rumours, but is it true that MTGS has a mafia subforum that actually plays mafia?
Yep. But I don't venture there no more.

What's there to like? Feeling smarter than 90% of the user base?

Something about keeping victims nameless appealed to the staff at the time, so innocents wouldn't be hassled needlessly by habitual trolls looking to take their infraction-anger out on others. Even when the request came directly from an individual and the problem could very likely have been handled between the two without mod intervention, it was us, the moderators, who would bear the burden of keeping the forums safe. When ( G_R ) arrived at my helpdesk, shaking with rage, I knew that I had become what I had always strived to be. A hero. A shield behind which the common forum-poster could safely hide,
secure in their knowledge that someone was there to care for them.

Not fed up with anything. Well, I have 2 herinated discs in my lower back that I'm fed up with, but whatever. I deal with them.

Actually you do. Once they used the excuse that we were harboring known criminal kcw on the gutter and that we had failed to report it to the authorities as an excuse to shut down the Gutter.
If memory doesn't fail me, the COC demands that staff members have the duty to inform other staff members whenever they witness internet crimes being committed.

Anyway, see we can have a decent idle chat without resorting to namecalling? We are just giving ourselves friendly ribbings and enjoying our virtual interactions. I told you you had it in you to improve your posting, well done

I've been a member on this site for almost a decade now. I've learned a lot and, hopefully, taught others along the way. I opted to be a mod after the previous mods moved on and because I loved Vintage. I implemented many changes to this part of the forum that you see today, and hope you still enjoy.
I was stripped of my moderation privileges after being accused of being inactive. I explained that I have just been busy in the last few months with various things in my life, but still am on the site almost daily. That response feel on deaf ears, because I have yet to hear anything back. If it was my choice I would have continued to be a mod on this site.
Because of the way the staff has handled this, I have decided to step away from the site all together. And wanted to take this
time to say thank you to all the people that have helped me and to those people who I have built friendships with along the way.

I was trying to find a picture from the film Paprika (trippy anime flick - crappy plot, great animation) since half the film is just random sequences of giant groups of clutter and this is one of the results I got.

Fuck my mice. I give them food and they throw it out their cage all night long. Fucking chill Scrambles! I had to remove my air conditioner because it was a fire hazard, so now its a muggy, mouse feed smelling dorm.
