To assume all new mods know exactly how CI drama effects their soon to be coworkers isn't really fair. But, you guys don't know anything about having your friends beat up and dragged out, do you? . The people we bring on now, I assume, know more about this stuff, but I'd rather they just hire on and have fun working their forum. We
are about there and anything that shakes that up will be slower to happen than some like.

But the way I see it is that most of the problems last year is because the site was frankly being run like a shithole, thus many complaint threads. The reason there is hardly any complaint threads now ? because the site is being ran a hell of a lot better ( on that by the way)

I didn't blame the gutter. My point is that unbanning will rock some boats and there haven't been many boats rocked lately. I like the calm since it lets us focus on other things like .... Well. All the relatively big things we have changed lately and the stuff we are still working on. Having your sr staff focusing on all the things you just listed (holy shit!) means that all that energy was not put into doing other stuff.

That list does create a visual that puts things into perspective....ugh

It wasn't the bannings that changed anything, its the staff and website reform. If the gutter had been left the fuck alone and not made a village idiot due to the pegging chamber and unfair bannings, the community would be in the same condition at this moment as it is now. What negatives will be with unbanning?
