But the target you ended up painting was of you as scum... All you did was make it look like you had prior knowledge of the game setup. If that was an attempt to get nightkilled, it was extremely clumsy. I don't think the mafia would even want to kill a role like that since your role PM would be made public, sharing whatever knowledge you had with the thread. You gave absolutely no indication that you were able to do anything useful in the future. All you succeeded in doing was drawing negative attention to yourself, making it even more likely that you won't be killed.

The flavor (spelled correctly) is what led me to believe there's only two scum, along with the 10 player set up. I'm an ATF agent, thus the vest. I also have reason to believe there's at least one vigilante out there. Sounds like there's a lot of guns out there and a hint at a malignant third party. I figure that can't be the case and there be any more than two scum.

A little bit? I suppose you're right that any character could be any alignment, but my role PM talks about a few specific characters and also hints at multiple alignments. I know nothing about the show, but based on that, I was thinking town will be those affiliated with SAMCRO.

I usually disregard all temptations to flavor game, but my role PM has a lot of backstory that matches the show's season 1 plot.

For those who favor flavor (heh), the ATF agent in season 1 was a distinct threat to SAMCRO and one of the primary "villains".

To reduce the game to a simple mass character claim would be foolish, so I'm sure that the game was randomized WRT alignment. I won't vote to lynch just based on that, but there may be something that flavor can teach us.

Everything I'm doing this game is because of the last game I played on another site. It's the first game that I've ever been nightkilled in, and I was NK'd on day one. Everyone was convinced I was town and I'm still not exactly sure why this keeps happening. I tried to just do exactly what I did there, which was pick something I saw as scummy, pressure the hell out of it, and stick to it in the face of opposition. As it turns out, both of my big pressure votes were on townies that game, but whatever. I was "the towniest town" and got shot for it. Maybe I was just forcing the situation too hard, kinda like the morons here do by forcing [mana]R[/mana] in a draft. I wanted to draw the night kill and soak a bullet.

Something else about that game: It had a neutral survivor who full claimed in his first post. I happened to lead the town to not lynch him that day but it was one hell of a fight. The neutral guy ended up being a distraction long into the game. I didn't want to see that happen again either. This is going to make sense in a minute.

Yeah yeah, I'm a survivor. I'm Josh Kohn, the ATF agent in season one. I haven't watched the show, but from what I've read he's not from the town of Charming, so that explains the neutral part. I'm apparently obsessed with some girl. My role says the town can burn for all I care, as long as I get the girl.

What you were doing is posturing. The jumping back and forth off my wagon was just to see how the town players were going to perceive you. When you see the last couple on my wagon and intent to vote me are people you know are town (because you're scum) you figure you're safe to vote me and get all the town cred you can scrounge up.

This is the contradiction you think you found? You're really grasping at straws. I'd hate to bring up that I'm a moron again, but I wanted confirmation that Rianalnn could vote for someone- anyone - and get any information about whatever restriction he's playing under. The vote would be random (or I specifically listed Stardust, my randomvote at the beginning of the game) to try to make the vote as easy and informationless as possible for him.

It turns out he had already voted and I'm blind.

My original thought on Jamie turning out to be scum is turning around on me. He hasn't been crumbling like he did previously, he's explaining his actions effectively, I'm actually pretty impressed at this point. Points for townie here.

In regards to LMD and Red, LMD's posts are usually pretty short like this. I have to remind myself to keep my eye on him when he plays, so your head's in the right area there. Red on the other hand I feel like he has a little more content than you're giving him credit for. He was one of the first people on Dech's case about the "I have reasons" bit. I'm going to reread through his posts and see if it gives me a more solid opinion of him.

Things are pretty tense when comparing things to last game I played with you, you're getting/have been pretty heated. Especially over the entire Rindawg bit, but I'm not sure this is something worth considering.

I got really frustrated. I mean, not only was Stardust hounding me on day one like he has in every bloody game I've been in him with (to be fair, I was scum in one of them), but I was trying something new with the breadcrumbing thing. I was trying to be subtle, but apparently I have no idea how to do that and still convey enough information. I gave up trying to hide it.

I also held on to the neutral thing longer because I saw how it turned out in the last game I played offsite. Neutral claimed in his first post, we had three or four pages of discussion about it before moving on to anything else, then again on the second day. Four people were dead on day three and not one of them was scum. He was just a distraction. I thought if I could keep the town appearance we could avoid all that and I'd just win with you guys when we hanged all the scum.
