Would you keep Mountain Mountain BTE BTE GHC Shortcutter Lightning Strike?
Not saying that's what his hand was, but there are certainly non-1 drop hands I'd keep.

He actually made the correct keep.
From what I could make out, Mountain, Mountain, Mutavault, Phoenix, Phoenix, BTE, Firefist Striker.

by LP, of the Fires
Muta, striker, phoenix, and BTE. His opponent was on the play and led with ratchet bomb however so owen elected to only cast Striker to avoid the 2-for-1.
I also don't mind his keep as on the draw, you have a reasonable chance of hitting your "12-outer" and BTE into whatever gives you an equally powerful draw.

That's even better. Did he drop the vault T1?

Sounds like something John Madden would say if he started doing commentary for SCG.

Well, some favourable control matchups at least.
Where you at GW?

I'm waiting for Cedric to opine "Rakdos Cackler really is a hybrid red/black 1 drop!"

YEA OWEN GET THERE!
"Preferred way to win." Pssh. My preferred way to win is getting my opponent to 0. Do we really care if it is burn or creatures?

Owen winning g2 against esper with flames of the firebrand. Because you have to kill yoked ox and it goes to the dome.

"Scry 2 on Magma Jet is a useful ability"
"You always want to see an opener with creatures"
Edit. Bravo Kaze

Oooh that is nice. +1 for flames. This game is demonstrating exactly why I don't like the all-in decks.
