Awwww...back to it then. Thanks for the encouragement.I know it gets old for you, but I want you to know that reading your responses to those people is probably my favorite part of Sally.Scrubs are out in force on MTGS today. IronPlushy actually called me terrible for wanting better mana in a two-colour aggro deck, because he only runs 4 Glacial Fortress in his UW Control deck.
Yep, I'm the terrible player. He finished 3rd at his FNM!
I love it.

Yes. Only thing I don't like is Pithing Needle, I don't see the specific application. Possibly UP should just be a 3rd Dreadbore. That card is amazing.

It's a card I normally wouldn't play ever, but Dan explained to me the reason he won states X years ago was having answers to randomness. It doesn't matter how bad bubbling cauldron angelic accord deck is(first thing that came into my head), if you have no answer to it, you can just loose to randomness.
But really, it answers ashiok, heliod, and Elspeth(literally only cards in control I care about). I ain't trying to be proactive. I just want to answer everything and outatrition fools. The best change made to the deck was moving away from cards like plant and anger of the gods for 4 magma jets. Without an actual CA engine, being able to filter through all my cards is key. I would like to squeeze one Chandra into the maindeck, but I don't know what to cut
As far as UP, I wanted a non-color intensive cheap spell that I could bring in
against agro and it being instant speed and answering desecration demon gave it the nod. Still, a dreadbore in the board sounds awesome. I would love to have access to three.

Well, I got most of my work done, but I'm so braindrained at the moment.Khaos, I hope you're ready. Pauper deck is bought and paid for.
Raincheck?
In a pinch, Khaos' beard can help turn this around.

I do like taking out the plant. I look forward to people forcing jund and just replacing farseek with the plant... but it seems youre ahead of the curve that the only reason farseek was so awesome is because you had broken 4 cmc and 5 cmc creatures.
I think ultimate price is going to very good at the start.
you can just add more PWs (chandra like you said) if you want a better game vs. control, I just don't like Ruric in a list running so many.... removal spells I guess. Cerberus comes down a full turn earlier too, which is pretty huge if youre worried about the Red MU.

Deal. I ended up going UR Delver instead of Goblins. I'll probably pick up the rest of the Goblins I'm missing though just to have it.[/Well, I got most of my work done, but I'm so braindrained at the moment.Khaos, I hope you're ready. Pauper deck is bought and paid for.

That's what I was leaning towards actually - the Delver/ Kiln Fiend awesomeness. I loved Kiln Fiend back when he was Standard legal.
In fact, I still have all the cards so I may build it on paper too. Because fuck it, that's why.

Jace is one of many cards in control that you don't give a rat's behind about. My testing partner also learned very quickly that you always minus jace against the dreadbore deck.
The control matchup is actually my favorite. Everything I play is a threat and they only have ashiok, eslpeth and heliod as threats. With the ability to rip apart there hand, the don't stand a chance and after board, the match just seems unwinnable for them outside of my friends lazav tech; card is actually good against midrange, who the fuck new?

Also, I stepped out to the store today and snagged a mic and some speakers. I downloaded the streaming program that ham recommended so once I get my Theros cards for MTGO, I'll be ready to do some streaming.
I'll be hitting up Z and ham for some pointers and troubleshooting though.

My cock started throbbing at the idea of Khaos streaming. That's probably what attracted Alex to the thread.
I'm also considering erebos in my board against blood baron/obzedat midrange. Them not gaining life is actually a big deal and having the draw engine is kind of gravy.
If I did that, I'd probably cut mortars from the board for witchstalker since it just swaps with lifebane zombie against the red decks giving me a non-terrible creature I can run.

I was playing Suga the other night and holy-fucking-shitballs, the value that I got out of that card was unreal.Maybe Elecktrickery is worth consideration over Shock... kills most T1 plays with upside?

Dreadbore went up way in value, there's so much less haste, and Jace is now a key piece in Ux control. I think they're VERY good.

Actual very good reason for running pithing needle. In the underworld connections mirror, you needle whatever land they enchanted with their connections. It's also a great answer to reaper of the wilds which is the aetherling of midrange decks.
Most annoying thing is that of all the sideboard color hosers they printed, non of them are good in jund but all are great against it

Deleted all my INS decks redbro.
Also, I'm gonna be on 'trice a lot less for a while.
Switching gears, is triple witchstalker worth running in my board? It's a clean swap for lifebane zombie against agro and actually seems very strong there. Ignoring firefist striker and Chandra seems pretty powerful.
Speaking of agro, can you redirect Firedrinker satyr's damage trigger to you're own planeswalker? That would be very relevant.

So. Am I the only one who believes that Thoughtseize isn't a no-brainer in any deck playing swamps? And that you don't jam it first turn every game? I've gotten in a bit of a tug of war with a guy in sally's Rock thread in the Established section. His point is basically that since it's the best discard spell ever played and that it's been in winning decks in every format it's beenp played, that it's an auto-include. My point is that it's still a card that takes thought to include and play correctly.
Thanks to NerdBoyWonder for the amazing sig!
