One of our drivers got killed when another truck driving the other way somehow crossed the middle of the road and hit his lorry. The tank was empty, but had vapors and it exploded. Both drivers died carbonized.

Yeah those guys are driving with bombs in the back. The thing is that liquid gasoline is not likely to explode, but the vapors are another thing. It's more dangerous to drive a recently discharged truck than a fully loaded one.
