Im playing midrange mage, reminecent of trump's ftp deck, I foolishly bought a pack, and now have to grind back 150 to get an arena run.

mage was my favorite class for a long time until the pyro nerf. On top of the frost spells nerf mage is now dead

I'm stuck around 19-20 right now. I think it's because I don't really have the dust to craft some of the better cards. I also am having a dismal time with the Arena. I'll get to 3 wins and then just start losing. My record is 4 wins. 4 WINS. Fucking horrible. I need to re-read the arena drafting tips.

Watch the curve, don't worry about synergy as much as good 2 for 1 traders and good value cards. Only pick amazing spells.

I've had some crazy decks like a mage draft with 7 mana wurms and a shaman deck with 5 flametongue totems

Oh and always draft mage if possible because it is, and always will be the best draft class. Other classes can get you those 10-12 wins but mage is just OP in arena

doing pretty well with a kinda mediocre warrior deck in arena, 3-1 right now, only loss was to a mage who's only out was polymorph and drew it, otherwise my 14-9 gruul was going to crush his face in

I'm loving Warrior still, got to rank 5 last season.


Being able to shift gears and take over the game is amazing. You swing your first weapon charge at their board, the next one goes upstairs and suddenly you're the aggressor and they have to react to you.

Or else they get bursted from literally nowhere.

I was between rank seven last season. Hit a win streak up to 12, then hit a wall cause I play terribly when tired and just recently recovered from the time change. About 700 gold from leeroy Jenkins for my hunter and rogue decks.

I play Hunter agro, Rogue Mid/tempo, and I have a really shitty version of Miracle rogue that's missing all the legends and thus I rarely play it.

Tinkmaster should have just been raised to a higher mana cost, now he is completely unplayable and a junk legend that would feel bad to pull

Yes until the next update. Some of my best DE dust was from a gold pyroblast for 1600, 2 gold dark iron dwarfs for 800 and Sylvanas Windrunner for 1600 when she was originally nerfed

Just lost my arena run after a bad misplay, mage on 6 life and a 2/3 wurm. Iwas druid with a 7/2 golem. he had previously played a 3 cost secret and I knew it wasn't a mirror image, ice barrier or vaporize (from previous interactions) so I assume its an ice block. I draw the card that can give my guy +4 heath and taunt and instead of attacking first I play it, and it ends up being the secret that forces that target on a 2/1. I lose the 7/2 the following turn and end up losing.

I feel pissed off and buy a pack with gold, crack the first of 2 packs (one was arena prize) and pull a legendary. It ends up being the pally legend, a card I don't really care for but makes the arena run feel worthwhile. then my other pack has a legendary and an epic. I crack the epic first and its a molten giant, I already have 2 and I need a mountain giant.
Then I crack the legend and its alexstraza, a legend I already have then I rage again.

Saw this steazy rogue deck that used Questing Adventurer. Basically Play cards to buff > attack > give stealth rinse and repeat every turn

Any good tutorial about competitive heartstone? Dont know a shit about this game and allowing you to play all the time and not wait as in mtgo is soo good when you have limited time.

Is there any difference between promo cards and normal cards? Do you need money to start playing this game?

Play arena, its the best way to learn all the cards and when you start hitting 3-4 wins its basically free. You always get a pack too so thats good.

You don't have to spend money, you can get everything for free it just takes time grinding arena and playing the ladder. Arena is fun too so it works out fine!

There are some arena guides online for good card picks for that format, I'd start there and just build some casual decks to play in casual until you unlock some more competitive cards. I've been playing since the closed beta last year and I average 8 wins in arena, a lot of the time getting 9-10 wins so I can play arena for free whenever.

Save gold for arena obviously, play the dailies for gold.

The format is quite diverse at the moment. Druid beatdown, druid control, Warlock draw/go control, warlock zoo, shaman control, paladin rush, control priest, rush warrior, armor up warrior.

The idea is to play a bit and get a feel for what play style and hero's you prefer. Druid and priest are really strong but I hate to play them, whereas others hate shaman but I love it. You will find yourself in hearthstone soon enough!

Yeah I DE all extra copies of gold cards, I have 1 argent commander and 1 azure drake that are gold because I only have 1 normal copy.

I Even DE gold epics that I will never use for that sweet 400 dust

Had 5 hours between my classes today and didnt thought of doing anything constructed -> my draft bug awakened.

Jumped into hearthstone arena and currently 8/8. Game is quite easy.

The big hurdle is going to be Leeroy, but you should have most of the rest. (and once you have leeroy, youd be suprised how fast the rest of the pieces fall into place!

A legendary, considering how hard it is to crack a single legend but how easy it is (in comparison) to crack packs and get rares and epics.

It also depends on the legendary here is a list used to define the best legends to craft:
