No, it was really just to head off the drama thread you tried to stir up. There was no sense of doing it for bogus internet morality. It wasn't about Harkius, MJ, it was about the fact that having a user locked up because you can be kind of an asshole sometimes was hurting the collective effort to prove we aren't all assholes all the time.

Meh, I learned to stop fearing drama back during the Troubles. I think a lot of what makes us better here is that we don't have a need to shy away from it.No, it was really just to head off the drama thread you tried to stir up. You obviously don't mind drama since you make it a point to bitch and whine some up during low volume times.

But seriously Pendulum, you are a very decent poster during low drama times but just when you've build up some cred here you go and blow it by freaking out over the most inane stuff. Like when you tried to get G_R to resign since you thought he hacked user accounts when all he did was change the authors of posts.

This would have been a great ending to the last thread.
You post on dtr? Cool? Honestly, I don't know who posts there and who doesn't.
I actually read that site quite a bit but its mostly because a lot of the people I used to interact with on MTGS are over there.
It should be a privilege to post here

Well, if we're going to get serious here, I think you need to realize that I feel I have to overreact to shit to get any sort of positive change out of you guys. You do have a tendency to try to reflect any desired change back to force the one desiring change to do it, instead of taking charge of the situation and trying to help the users build a community they want... that doesn't work so well when you're tryingBut seriously Pendulum, you are a very decent poster during low drama times but just when you've build up some cred here you go and blow it by freaking out over the most inane stuff. to build legitimacy as a website, which while you may not respect the work we've done here I certainly do.

the time but you're sort of doing it in your own way here. We didn't ask for someone to come along and "right our wrongs" or put us on the right course. Believe it or not, most of us are actually fairly smart and have jobs, careers, etc. We don't need you to flip out for our own good.

Who gives a fuck about Syria, honestly? The only reason anything might happen in there is because we drew a line in the sand and they decided to call our bluff. It's not like there hasn't been civil war and all manner of insane shit happening there for years.
