They seem playable, in slower controlling decks (such as the ones we've seen this past season), they seem fine to filter draws.

*insert some lame reason about how having duels at uncommon/common affects limited and what not that really probably doesn't make sense because yolo swag*

I dunno, it probably involves a bunch of pixies ass fucking each other in the room of whomever makes these decisions

Looking at the top card of your library is not worth CiPT, in my opinion.

players play guildgates in standard and block to supplement their 8-dual-land mana base and those don't even let you scry.

these things are awesome in decks with cards in them. always entering tapped sucks but a surprising thing is that when these are your only options you will still play them regardless because they tap for two colors of mana.

they are just better than Gates unless you're playing Maze's end. And 4 shock lands isn't going to cut it in a two color deck. You'd need extra duals and this is what we've got.
I don't like them, they should be uncommon, but for standard I think they're fine.

i agree that they should be uncommon but they're "just ok" as rare.

i don't think there have ever been uncommon enemy color lands?

Well you could say so since the closest ones are the invasion lands cycle: Coastal Tower

BUT!

The Alara Tri-lands can do the enemy color lands trick: Arcane Sanctum

Also the Homelands Tri-lands for the comedy option: Aysen Abbey

the closest comparators are the zendikar +1 life lands (ex: Jwar Isle Refuge
) and, as a person far more adept at magic than i am put it during a magic the gathering video stream, being able to scry 1 to a very real segment of the player base is far less useful than gaining 1 life with your land drop for the turn, so having these lands at uncommon with a "worse" ability than a land cycle of dual lands from not all that long ago (relatively) can sway opinion in that direction.

additionally, another segment of the player base who i do not know may say that adding a third color of mana within an allied shard is more important than having the ability to scry 1. in the same way, these lands fail to impress at rare.

however, i am also aware that previously this same effect was attempted at uncommon in future sight with only one color of mana, and adding two colors of mana is better than one given that both lands otherwise etb tapped.

Yeah, pretty sure these will end up being better than people expect. Scrying is pretty powerful, especially for control decks that don't really care so much about coming into play tapped anyway. I'll be picking up one of each for EDH at least. They're probably the best CIPT duals we've seen.

While these certainly are not the ideal dual lands, I think they're going to be better than a lot of people are thinking. Like Stardust said, Scry is pretty powerful and I'm looking forward to using them in a Boros Midrange deck.
