That, sir, would be rather OP. I just noticed that the entire cycle has double color costs...they certainly are not going for splashable (particularly for black...it takes a hammer to your head and screams "YOU WILL PLAY SWAMPS AND ONLY SWAMPS AND BE SWORN TO THE DARK").

Liking the Bestow ability, actually. Kind of strange flavour, but I'm interested to see what they can do with this.

The Bestow mechanic seems cool. My concerns with it are that we'll either get a bunch of cards that are unplayable in constructed because of such a high bestow cost, or that they'll print one at mythic that'll be broken as fuck. We're just about to get rid of Thragtusk, Voice has been a pain in the ass since it got printed, and with this mechanic, they're very capable of creating a card that is broken for many of the same reasons.
Devotion also seems pretty sweet. The demon also seems like a fantastic Limited bomb, but hopefully the format won't be super slow and bomb-centric.

bestow has a lot going against it still, though. in order for have all of the things you're complaining about, you first have to have a creature in play to enchant, have the creature survive the spell resolution, and dodge enchantment removal (which may become more popular following set release) before you have a voice-token-like effect upon death.

also, batterskull, thragtusk, and voice of resurgence never required two cards to be good. in order for bestow to work, you need to assemble a voltron and have nothing go wrong during/after assembly to get the bonuses.

it's a cool effect that will probably up the stock of enchanting creatures, but i don't think we're entering a block of neo-thragtusks and voices 24/7.

Ember swallower doesn't seem that bad? especially with fast ramp stuff like Satyr Hedonist?

Ember Swallower seems like the best one out of the bunch. You get a 4/5 early on and on turn 7 you can destroy nearly half of the opponent's manabase and pump your creature. Granted, you lose lands as well, but if you're playing R/G ramp or something, the hit won't be nearly as significant.
